Meet Rachael Galloway | Brand Marketing Professional

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachael Galloway and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rachael, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
Digital marketing is a beast. It is ever-changing and what might have worked yesterday doesn’t always work today.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have served in a variety of branding & creative marketing roles with over 11 years of experience, working for various e-commerce companies. Prior to working with Zentap, I spent 4 years working for VersaDesk and am responsible for the successful launch of the electric standing desk brand. In all my roles throughout my career, I have overseen content creation and marketing strategies.
During that time at VersaDesk, I produced the viral brand awareness YouTube video “Do You Have A Sitty Life?” and the “End The Sit Show” 360 campaign. This video and campaign won a Gold W3 for Branded Video in 2018. Due to this success, I have been invited to speak at various conferences about How To Dominate Video Trends and Rapidly Grow Your Business.
Most recently I have helped Zentap with hosting informative webinars for their clients. The webinars have been very successful in providing added value to the clients as well as sparking interest in prospective clients. During the webinars, I provide additional resources and training on how they can better market themselves as real estate agents. The webinars have covered topics such as, “Creating Your Winning Social Media Plan ” and “How To Dominate Digital Marketing With Branded Content”.
Due to working for start-ups throughout most of my career, I took on many many roles in addition to my main role in digital brand marketing. This allowed me to better understand all the different departments’ needs and better assist them so we could work as a team. As I advanced in my career I also learned that although it is good to be a team player, saying yes to everything and trying to do everything is not always beneficial. Luckily for the past few years, I have been able to focus mainly on what it is I do best and assist others where I can. Leaving me open to having more success like what I have had with VersaDesk and Zentap.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are just so many great things to do and see in the city that it’s hard to say. But if I had to choose… I would start the day off with a hike at one of the many great trails in Malibu then head to Neptune’s Net for some lunch to-go. From there we would take our lunch to the beach to enjoy the amazing views and delicious food. After that, I would head downtown to check out the views from the top of 7th & Grand while enjoying a delicious cocktail and finish the day off with dinner at Faith & Flower.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents always told me I could achieve anything I set my mind to. That has always had a huge impact on me and has helped drive me to where I am at today. Most recently I have been inspired by Hal Elrod and his book “The Mircale Morning”. I have always been into meditating and goal setting, but his words and theory on how to approach each day to achieve level 10 in everything you do have been very inspiring.
