Hi RavenSymone, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk used to be something I dreaded, ran away from even. It wasn’t until I began to embrace risk that my life started to look like what I saw when I closed my eyes. In life rather that’s with your career, business, or in general, there’s a place that you currently are and then there’ a place you desire to be. To me, the space in between is how I view risk. I can stay where I am currently and risk the life that I always wanted or I can go after what I desire and risk it all crumbling down in front of me.

Just as any person, I’ve made good decisions and bad ones. The only decisions I regret are the ones I made because they seemed more safe. In reality, if I would have made the space between where I was and where I wanted to be smaller then I would have arrived in paradise much sooner.

What should our readers know about your business?
Simon Accounting Services, SAS, is a tax strategy firm dedicated to helping successful business owners pay less in taxes and keep more of their profits in their business. Our firm takes pride in offering this service because of the HUGE misconception that the more profits automatically means larger tax bills which can be farther from the truth. In reality, the more profits a business earns the more options it has to allow those profits to generate even more profits. SAS begin offering tax strategy in early 2021, by June 2021 our firm grossed 7 figures in revenue. We knew then what we do here matters.

Growing an accounting firm in 6 short months was not easy, but it wasn’t as difficult as my fears led me to believe at first. Our service offerings started out wide but as I gained clients i began to take note of what services really made a difference for our clients. We started offering those services only and everything changed for us.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Sure! I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my tribe , RT2, who has helped me build SAS and for keeping me sane. As an entrepreneur, it gets lonely as you build success you start to feel as if you. can’t trust everybody. Tabitha and Travis have always been there to be that sounding board, jump in where’s its needed, and making sure I always operate in excellence why staying true to myself and the goals I desire to reach. I thank God for them daily.
