We had the good fortune of connecting with Rickhardo Terrones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rickhardo, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I chose to pursue a creative career as I saw it as an opportunity to be very successful. I also really enjoy the fact that with this career I can create whatever I want when I want, and people will genuinely fuck with my vision and creativity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I do creative/brand photography for my work. What I feel sets me apart is my unique style and crazy ideas I have. How I got here was randomly hiking one day and just getting a camera and never putting it down since that moment. It wasn’t easy at all but with the help from all the people I met and the feedback I got from people really pushed me to do better work. What I would want the world to know about my brand and story is to just say “fuck it” and take chances because that’s basically what I did with everything.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would say go visit down to Cali Tacos to get the Angel burrito. After that go down to the T shirt factory down Bristol get some nice pickups and then get some ice cream next door. Then just chill at granny house right after for more good eats.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my friends Loko and Mi for giving me a lot of opportunities and introducing me to new people and helping me out with whatever I needed. Mentorship wise I would like to shoutout Kev, Eduardo, and Bryan for guiding and teaching me a lot of shit, since I’m fairly new to this industry still. I also want to shout out Dimps and Nsty as they welcomed me with open arms in their studio and have given me great support and opportunities. I finally want to shout out my brothers Christian, Diego, and Nathan for pushing me to pursue this career.
