We had the good fortune of connecting with RIORARRI and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi RIORARRI, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Life is all about Risks, I learned that a very young age. one of my favorite sayings is “SIN MIEDO” which means fearless. I’ve seen both of my parents risk it all for my two younger sisters nd I, we come from nothing seeing them work so hard so that we could have a roof over our heads, food on the table, clothes, and an education that motivated me to never give up. I’ll risk it all for my Family and for my Son. You’ll lose a lot in the process but that’s part of taking the risk you can’t be afraid, there’s a couple things on the other side of fear but just like chess you have to make the correct moves.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from other Creators/Artist is that i had to learn how to Engineer my self I honestly wouldn’t be the engineer/artist that I am without my close homie “Jack Flash” always believed in me I have love and respect for bro he is a Genius If you know you know. I’m Big on Energy I never force anything. I also never know what I’m recording or working on until I’m in the Recording Studio it all depends on my mood. One day I’m working on a “Melodic Pain” music project the next day I’m working on a “Mexican Regional” music project then the next day I’m working on a “POP” project then the next day I’m working on a “Reggaeton” project then the next day I’m working on a “Hip-Hop” project then the next day I’m working on a “R&B” project then the next day I’m working on a “Spanish Trap” project all projects in both English & Spanish you never know when your in the Studio with me. I’m one of the most if not the most Versatile artist. I’ve never met an artist like my self I’m different in many ways Music comes naturally to me it’s crazy every song that I work on comes out Golden no matter the Genre and it’s even crazier because I don’t have to prove anything my work speaks for itself.

I’m proud of how much I have grown as an Artist/Engineer and most importantly as a Person, a Son, and a Father.

“New Music dropping soon” I have a project with a very good friend of mine “NESSHEADS” dropping soon we can’t wait to share it with you guys! she’s Different I love her style of music.
I’m currently working on a “Mexican Regional” project with “GRUPO TRIDENTE” a group of young, hungry, and talented individuals we are very excited to share our Cultural side of the music. I’m also excited about releasing Singles and Features. I have projects with close Friends/Family like JACK FLASH, PHOR, MONSTER, ELI, SUHPREME J, IGNITE, SABIA FOREIGN808, THATSPHANTOM, JAYLIFTED, READY and many More.

My friends & Family say that I’m sitting on “Gold” which I agree but it’s not easy in reality you need a Strategy, a Plan, a Budget , and a Solid Team. One can’t depend on others to make moves for you. you also have to do your part connect and meet with other creators in person that way you build strong relationships, TEAMWORK. I’ve met so many Great people in the process not only Artist but also people that I look up to I’ll never forget the Wisdom for as long as I live. I remember the first time I performed i was originally suppose to open up for “PoloG” but i opened up for “LilTjay” instead the experience was amazing! I couldn’t of done it without the help and support from my Team, my Homie’s SHOEWOO and DUKE I’m grateful for it all. There’s songs that are out on YouTube & Spotify now that I’m featured on with Chicago Legends like the homie TWISTA the homie PHOR from “BlackInkCrew” Phor is a close friend of mine we connect on a different level as creators he’s introduced me to his people, bro really wants to see me make it and vise-versa I appreciate him for that.

My Career/Dream goal is to get all of my favorite artist from the time I was growing up on songs with me Artist like “ NELLY”,“ EL YAKI”, “DARELL”, “RESIDENTE”, KEVIN GATES”, “NICKYJAM”, and many more! And songs with my favorite Artist now like “THEWEEKND”, “FUERZA REGIDA”, “CAZZU”, “EL TAIGER” there’s so many Artist to name… from both the time I was growing up to now god willing I know we can make it happen we just have to keep working.

My advice to everyone out there is never quit keep hustling turn negatives into positives don’t be afraid to take the next step your going to fail and that’s ok you’ll grow and evolve even more. If you feel like you just can’t take it anymore breathe and remind yourself why you decided to do this in the first place..always remember that the day that you give up on yourself that same day that same moment your Dream dies! you have the option to change. I want to let you guys know that it’s okay to work a regular job we need money in order to survive and take care of our family’s. But Keep in mind there’s 24 hours in a day we work for 8-12 hours don’t be afraid to sacrifice another 4-6 hours of your time into your Vision that way you in the future you can be your own Boss an invest 8-12 hours into your own business and the rest on your family.

I have a 6 year old son he’s my World my Engine the reason I CantStopWontStop. FaceTime calls aren’t enough for me I want to be able to see him Grow, Spend real one on one quality time, and raise him with morals. if i add up the time that we lost due to school, personal reasons and living in different states trust me you would do whatever it takes and risk it all for your child too. I missed half of his life I only get to spend 3-6 months with him every year, I want to be able to buy a house closer to him so I can pick him up from school and support him in whatever it is that he wants to be in life my son is my best friend in the entire world he loves to BeatBox, Sing/rap, make beats, draw and ride the 4wheelers. that’s the real reason why I’m so deep into my music career I want to be in his life more than anything in the world and I will I have so much faith in my self and the music that I create you can feel the pain through my art you can also feel the Amazing moments I’ve lived. I hope my music inspires and motives everyone to “Never Give Up”. TEAMWORK!!

Once my Team and I make it and I’m “successful” id like to build homes all over Mexico specially in a Pueblito where I grew up called “LA LUZ MICHOACAN” it’s very poor I would love to help those that don’t have anywhere to go and are barely surviving. I’d also like to open a recording arts Studio in “LA LUZ MICHOACAN” so many amazing voices that need to be heard. The vision is Insane ( Pero aqui lo hacemos “SIN MIEDO” ) we do it fearlessly! For the Family, the Children and for the People.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I Love Chicago if my friend or family was visiting Favorite Go-to spots to eat would have to be Harolds Chicken FIRE!!. But as much as I love Chicago my favorite Go-To places to escape for a bit would have to be Downtown Lake Geneva Wisconsin everything about Lake Geneva is Amazing the View, the Space, the Energy, the Air, the Peace I feel like you connect with earth more in Farm lands then you do in a crowded City. But you have to be careful you might come across a Jerk or two other than that it’s a great place to visit you can walk along the Lake watch the boats go by and see all of the Mansions that they have built over the years the Motivation there is unmatched Ive always told myself I will own a property here one day.
