We had the good fortune of connecting with Roger Hardnock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roger, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My passion and my mission is to continue exploring the potential of Art of Spirit, and to push this powerful energy of transformation, healing and growth further out into the world, where it can continue to help people change their lives and their communities for the better.

Art of Spirit is not art therapy in the traditional sense. It is unique in that it is a combination of light, color, movement and sound—embedded with intentional, highly charged energy frequencies—designed to create awareness of an undesirable aspect within a persons life, and then to shift those frequencies into positive, supportive ones that stimulate actual change.

Much of my work has been one-on-one, with individuals looking to make profound changes in their lives—within the realms of body, mind and spirit healing and growth. For example, I work with people to heal emotional blockages that prohibit them from achieving healthy, lasting relationships, financial security and abundance, career aspirations, or just becoming more healthy and balanced, and living a life they truly love.

I often use my intuitive, psychic and mediumship abilities in my work. This comes through reading an individual’s energy signature, to identify and extract their unique blockages. From there, Art of Spirit creates an image that projects an immersive frequency that matches their desired goal.

This results in a very tailored and specific energy signature within each work of art, tailored to the individual. A map, if you will, taking them from a current or unwanted situation into that future place where their dreams or objectives have already been achieved. The Art of Spirit image and the energy within it represents that journey and destination. By keeping the final art close in their daily awareness, its powerful energy is radiated out and absorbed, and change is inspired.

I have also translated Art of Spirit into very powerful, one-of-a-kind audio/visual meditations, so that I can help an even larger audience. I also work with groups and organizations to help them shift their collective energy frequencies, to better align with their desired goals.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My mother was an artist, so I guess I got my artistic abilities from her. When I was younger my art was all about technical accuracy and realism. I created detailed illustrations of ornate homes and antique cars. I loved the discipline of it, but in retrospect I’m not sure I’d call it all that creative.

My life shifted dramatically in my late 20’s, when I began having psychic visions. I had no spirituality or religion in my life prior to that, no real thoughts or beliefs about what makes things happen in this world, or what happens beyond our lifetimes. So, when these abilities started to appear, I was pretty curious about them. I wen ton to train with many of the world’s top psychics and mediums, and found that whatever challenge my teachers put before me, I could do: tap into people’s energy frequencies and find pathways to healing and change, connect with loved ones who had passed on, to facilitate healing conversations or just confirm that they are in fact still with us.

I never connected these abilities to my art until years later. One day I was holding a pencil in my hand and it began to move, creating these swirling designs. I just allowed it to happen and unfold, and over time they became more dynamic, and I could sense this powerful energy within each one. This was later confirmed when a message from beyond told me that there was healing energy within the drawings. And that’s how it all began.

But it has not been an easy journey, as this is something that, to my knowledge, has never been done before. And I often struggled with inner talk, my logical mind telling me that this can’t be possible, to actually heal through this strange version of art. But then I would feel the energy of a drawing and witness actual change in people’s lives. Negative beliefs changed overnight. Physical symptoms dissipated. Insurmountable obstacles overcome. Goals achieved.

So, I think what really sets my art apart is this powerful, intentional, healing energy that is embedded within the drawings and meditations. It is Art of Spirit. And this is what makes the work so exciting as well. First, that I am co-creating with an unimaginable force far more powerful than I, and through this almost unimaginable, intoxicating energy that flows through my hands, lives are changed for the better. What could be greater than that?

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the diversity of LA. You can experience almost anything here. Personally I’m drawn more to nature and the ocean, but I love exploring the city as well. I would start our exploration with a trip into the past, beginning with a visit to the Natural History Museum, dinner at Little Dom’s, and ending with a view into the universe at the Griffith Observatory. I would follow that with the Petersen Automotive Museum and a walk down Hollywood Blvd for some iconic Hollywood culture and people watching, ending with dinner at Musso & Frank Gill. The next day we’d take a stroll through Venice Beach, to capture the beach vibe, with lunch at the Beachside Restaurant overlooking Marina Del Rey. We’d end with a drive up the coast, through Santa Monica and up to Malibu. We’d pull over at Point Dume and hope to see some whales. And finally we’d have dinner at Kristy’s in Malibu.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely would not be where I am today, or stepping forward into the many amazing experiences still before me, without the love and support of some pretty extraordinary people. First and foremost, my biggest shoutout goes to Kim, my love, my best friend and cheerleader. Every day, through her constant love and support, she reminds me that anything is possible. Another special shoutout goes to Raffi, who never doubted any of it when all of this craziness began, who gave me permission to step into it. And then, a shoutout to my tribe in Chicago, who are always there with a constant stream of loving support. Two books that have changed my life…A Course in Miracles…which showed me how love is the single greatest power in the universe. And second, Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza, which has convinced me (scientifically) that all possibilities exist, even those like mine, that sometimes seem beyond that realm of possibility.
