We had the good fortune of connecting with Roman Keshishyan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roman, what do you attribute your success to?
I think my wife and I have an unconventional perspective when it comes to defining success.

We put a stronger emphasis on the journey, as opposed to the destination. We don’t measure it in terms of salaries, zip codes, or automobile collections. It’s about holding on to the enthusiasm you started off with in the face of adversity; falling down a hundred times, getting up a hundred and one; refusing to allow the dream that you’re pursuing to elude you along the way; showing up when you feel like giving up; understanding that failure is not the antonym of success, but a huge part of it. Most importantly, somewhere in the midst of your personal odyssey, having the epiphany that success is the quality of service you provide to humanity and the relationships you build thereof.

What should our readers know about your business?
We offer unique on-site culinary experiences for a variety of events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate gatherings, and milestone birthdays. What truly sets us apart from other catering companies is that we don’t have a set menu. We allow our clientele to custom create their own menus. Our mantra is that no event is the same, your menu shouldn’t be either. If there’s one thing we’d like for the world to know about our brand, it’s that it was built on pure love. It’s our love letter to mankind. It’s not just about catering in the literal sense of the word, but about having authentic interactions, and oftentimes, forming long-lasting bonds. It’s about engaging with meaning and purpose. It’s not just about delivering delectable gourmet food, but delivering food that has a past doused in rich ancestral history and so much warmth. And if there is anything that we are most proud of, it lies in the intricate web of memorable connections we’ve made at each event, ones that go beyond artificial functionality.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We’d hit up Bread & Breakfast in Burbank for their savory Basturma Burritos. Follow it up with Urth Caffé in Melrose for some rich coffee and versatile sweets. Forma in Santa Monica for some of the best contemporary Italian food in town. Lastly, we’d end up at The C Library, a speakeasy cigar lounge nestled in the heart of Studio City. This is the low-key spot to be for a diverse and well-stocked international cigar selection, excellent service, and unparallel vibes. In addition, their monthly night of jazz never disappoints.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a massive shoutout to my wife! For her patience and countless sacrifices, in-depth conversations, extra jolt of energy when I’m low on fuel, creative vision, ability to always see the bigger picture, nurturing ways and how tenderly and attentively she cares for our daughter. For waiting up in the wee hours of the night until I get home from on-site gigs, constant positive aura and friendly reminders that we are on this beautiful journey together as a unit. She deserves all the credit. She is the wind to my sailboat.
