We had the good fortune of connecting with Roshaunda (Ro) Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roshaunda (Ro), how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
When I think about balance, I think about structure and routine. Most importantly organization and peace. In my world I have to balance being a child of God first and foremost, then I’m Roshaunda Hall, the mother, Wife, Daughter etc..
I had to learn to make time for everyone and BALANCE.
In the beginning it was a little complicated but with dedication I was able to get it done.
Over time my balance has changed by sticking to my daily routine and morning rituals.

Very interesting question. Very humbling question.

Thank you for that. 🙂

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well like you said let’s jump right in ,

What sets me apart from others is the love and passion I have when I’m behind the camera lens. Whether, it’s for pictures or video I capture people and make them look DAMN Amazing! Whatever their insecurities may be I can tell through the lens and capture the perfect angle. I always capture the “Money Shot”.

I am most proud about how unique my art tells a story that no one else sees. I am truly not your average individual.
I am most excited about my first film “WestTown The Movie”. Follow on IG @westtownthemovie
My Production team is everything.
The coolest thing about the production of my first film is that I get to work alongside my wife Skyler Hall.
She is the Co- director and Producer of the film. She is the COO of the company as well. Without her I don’t know where I would be even on the cloudiest day she makes my vision clearer.

I got to where I am professionally by doing my own research on how to run a company and start a small business. It’s so funny because people around me had business booming or so I thought. They never wanted to help a sista out!!! So I had to find my own way. Was it easy? Hell No but it wasn’t super complicated either. I am still learning everyday. To be honest though Reading and getting your own knowledge is how i overcame any challenges I was facing.

Lessons I learned:
1. Keep God First
2.Never go against your intuition.
3.Protect your peace.
4. Networking everywhere is important.
5. Stay ambitious.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that “IT’S IN ME NOT ON ME”
I walk, breathe, speak and live my brand.
This right here is forever!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First, I would love to give my aunt Kimberly Hall the biggest shout out. This Woman is not only my aunt she is more like my twin sister. The only difference is we are exactly 9 years apart. We look identical lol. But on a serious note every since i was 5 years old I wanted to be like her. She played the piano so i wanted to play the piano. & i did. She was in a marching band, I wanted to be in a marching band. & i was in one. Whatever Pudgey wanted to do she did and she never gave up. BTW Kimberly and Pudgey are the same people. Any-who she went to the Military and made E6. She would send beautiful post cards from around the world. I always said I would travel the world and take beautiful pictures like the post cards. I was playing basketball then but i always had a love for photography. so when my basketball career was over, I picked up a camera and got to work.
In case she never knew this now she will know. Thank you Auntie for inspiring me to be great and to never give up.. Look at me now.

Still Swaying. 🙂
