Meet Sabrina Kozachuk

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabrina Kozachuk and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sabrina, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m originally from New Jersey, just outside of New York City, where growing up in a diverse and fast-paced environment taught me resilience, grit, and how to connect with people from all walks of life. As an intuitive and empath, I’ve always felt deeply connected to others, but for a long time, I didn’t know how to hold space for myself. Coming from a family with a history of addiction and generational trauma, I carried the weight of anxiety, people-pleasing, low self-worth, and limiting beliefs. The constant hustle of the city pushed me to work hard—but it also left me feeling drained. Deep down, I knew there had to be more to life. Babysitting for a Buddhist family as a teen introduced me to mindfulness and holistic healing, planting a seed that eventually helped me work through an eating disorder, anxiety, nervous system regulation, emotional pain and traumas. As a kid I had a premonition that I’d make it to California one day—not just for myself, but to share my story and help others heal, too. That vision kept me going, and today, I’m proud to be living it

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is rooted in holistic wellness and healing, where I combine my training as a Certified Holistic Wellness Practitioner, Life Coach, and facilitator of breathwork, Reiki, somatic healing, and the use of food as medicine. What sets me apart is my deeply personal approach—drawing from my own healing journey and lived experiences—to create safe, compassionate spaces for transformation. I also incorporate wellness retreats and ceremonial experiences, offering clients a chance to reconnect on a deeper level beyond typical coaching sessions.
I’m most proud of the impact I’ve been able to make by helping people move from simply surviving to truly thriving in their lives. Bringing holistic health education to local school districts is especially meaningful to me, as teaching children early on how to advocate for themselves can change lives.
My path hasn’t been easy. Growing up around generational trauma and addiction, and facing my own challenges with anxiety, fatigue, and limiting beliefs, I had to dig deep to heal and find my purpose. It was a gradual process of learning to listen to my intuition, embracing holistic practices, and committing to inner work. The biggest lessons I’ve learned are the power of patience, self-compassion, and resilience—knowing that transformation takes time but is always possible.
What I want the world to know is that healing is accessible to everyone, and no matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you can create a life of balance, joy, and purpose. My brand stands for empowerment, connection, and the belief that we all deserve to come home to ourselves.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting LA for a week, we’d start with breakfast at my favorite organic café, Juicy Ladies in the Valley (their peanut butter energy bar is a must). We’d spend the day exploring some of my favorite vintage shops and small local boutiques. A visit to Topanga Canyon would be essential, especially stopping by Moonastar Collective—a beautiful store filled with crystals, oracle cards, handmade jewelry, candles, and unique clothing.
We’d take a peaceful day hike in nature along the coast and enjoy a walk on the beach—grounding ourselves and catching the sunset.
Midweek, we’d head to Joshua Tree and stay at an amazing Airbnb in the desert, grab a gluten-free pizza from Sky High Pie, and my favorite coffee from Joshua Tree Coffee Company. We’d explore local shops, pick up a few special art pieces for our homes, and treat ourselves to a fabulous new organic body oil. Catch a live show at Pappy and Harriet’s.
We’d spend a day in Palm Springs soaking up the sun, browsing vintage finds, and stopping at Native for some amazing vegan food.
Lastly, we’d head back to the South Bay and take an evening yin yoga class at Sol Seek in Manhattan Beach. Followed by a girls night at my place with a hot rose/lavender tea and a movie.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to take a moment to give special thanks to a few incredible people who helped guide me to my purpose. Dr. Kerri Escamilla and Linda Barone have been guiding lights, offering wisdom, support, and positivity that shaped my path. I’m also profoundly grateful to Dr. Wayne Dyer, whose teachings on the power of changing one’s thoughts transformed my life and mindset. Their guidance and inspiration continue to fuel my passion for helping others heal and grow.
