We had the good fortune of connecting with Sagi Isaac Azran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sagi Isaac, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Over the years, I saw too many loved ones, friends and family, go through horrible home-renovation and construction experiences. Whether it was the work, the communication, the honesty of the company…. Everything that could go wrong for them, usually did. It got to the point where many of them were afraid to do any other construction projects in or around their home. I recognized the void in having a trustworthy and honest construction company in the field and decided to become one myself.

When we started, our main goal was providing clients with high quality service at affordable rates. We recognized how important constant & truthful communication was and made sure to make that a top priority within our team, giving the homeowner the transparency they need when approaching projects, no mater how big or how small. We know the idea of construction can be very intimidating, so we designed a process to make it fun and accessible for every home owner, from initial idea to final execution.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets our business apart is our transparency. There are no surprises with us. We tell you exactly what to expect from A to Z and we get it done! If unexpected things happen (as they always do!) we work quickly to understand why, how, and what we can do to keep the project moving forward without delay and within budget. We are a mile ahead each time, and pride ourselves in our ability to problem solve! We are honest to our core and our clients come first, every single time. We care deeply about making the process fun and enjoyable for homeowners, because we know that it’s not just about the destination, and that our clients literally live in and through the journey. We take complex construction projects and turn them into small, easy to understand, bite sized portions for our clients to easily digest. Our incredible designers, architects, personal shoppers and expert team members are here to make this process easy & smooth!

While this field provides exciting opportunities everyday, I am currently most excited about growing and expanding our company into different states! If you would have told me this is what I would be doing 10 years ago… 🙂

What I want the world to know is whenever you hear our brand name, you know its going to be backed up with the best customer service, and just as importantly, honest and FUN professionals and experiences!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This question could take me days to answer. I have to admit, I am a bit of a homebody, but man do I enjoy some good eating! My wife, daughter and I go to the farmers market every Saturday morning, so we would probably start there! We would pick up some fresh avocados, orange juice, gluten free Italian sourdough bread, gluten free vegan chocolate chip cookies, and gluten free pasta noodles. We’d stop by our favorite Italian vendor and pick up a new jar of pesto (literally the best we’ve ever had) and grab a few things to make for dinner! If you couldn’t tell by now, I have a gluten intolerance. But I have to admit, the farmers market makes it easy! We’d go back home and make Italian food for dinner and eat cookies for dessert! Or eat cookies while we make dinner…. They’re really good.

On Sunday, I’d work. So, we would probably go to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Bacari in Sherman Oaks, and enjoy some amazing wine and order everything on the menu. I’m sure we’d have a BBQ or two, go to Fogo de Chão, maybe go line dancing if they’re up for it! I love to dance! We would take the dogs on a hike, maybe catch a movie at our favorite theater; Cinepolis in Westlake. I’d be relaxing and not too busy, but you’d never go hungry! That’s for sure 🙂

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
One of my biggest inspirations and motivations in life has always been my father, from the very beginning. I grew up very poor, in a small house, with my parents and my two brothers. Growing up, my Father would always tell us that besides our strong minds, healthy bodies, and joyful spirits, we don’t need much more in life. However, if we wanted more, it was out there for us, and if we truly set our minds to it, we could accomplish anything. He taught us to imagine our lives and how they would look if we took every shot that came our way without the fear of failing. I will never be able to thank him enough for that. That mindset has shaped me into the man I am today; a man who seeks opportunity and change with full gratitude and hopefulness, not fear.

I would also like to give a shoutout to my family; my mom and my brothers, who encourage every single one of my crazy ideas and are always in my corner. My business partners, who believe in me the way I fiercely believe in them and this company. The book Never Split The Difference by Chris Voss, that taught me the importance of good communication, how to listen with the intent to understand, not the intent to responding, and reminding me to put other peoples needs before my own, every chance I can. Last but not least, and certainly most important, God.
