We had the good fortune of connecting with Sahar And Linda Whitley And Lygdback and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sahar and Linda, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of Threads of Two is the authenticity and real life connection behind the brand. It wasn’t built in a boardroom, It was born in a lounge chair by the pool, over shared stories, kids running wild, and margarita fueled art nights. Every product, post and design reflects real friendship, real motherhood, and real humor. That relatability is what draws people in and keeps them coming back.

What should our readers know about your business?
Threads of Two started the way all great ideas do.. with two moms, zero chill, and one too many group texts. We make witty, minimal, high-quality apparel and home goods that say what you’re really thinking- because life’s too short for boring basics.
What sets us apart? We’re not a marketing team in a boardroom. We’re real women doing real life – carpools, chaos and coffee fueled creativity. We’ve been scammed, scrappy and slightly unhinged, but we kept going. And we’re damn proud of that.
The biggest lesson? Start before you’re ready. Google the rest. And never underestimate the power of a good margarita and a best friend.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If we had a friend visiting we’d do a little bit of everything. Good food, great vibes, and maybe a few questionable decisions.

Start with coffee at Maru in Los Feliz, then hit Silver Lake Flea for vintage treasures. Lunch at Gjusta in Venice, and an afternoon walk down Abbot Kinney for inspo and people watching.

Another day, we’d road trip to Ojai.. wine, spa robes, and pretending we live there. On the way back to LA we’d have dinner at Casalena in the Valley.

We could do a beach day in Malibu, yoga at The Den and thrift hauls in Highland Park.

LA is full of weirdos, dreamers, and avocado toast, and we love it that way.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We’d be nowhere without the women who show up, for each other and for us. Threads of Two started with a ride-or-die friendship, and it grew thanks to the support of our families, and the women and moms who saw themselves in our words. This is a shoutout to every person who believed in us before we believed in ourselves. You made this real.
