Meet Sánchez Jr. | DJ/Producer & Events Artist Care

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sánchez Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sánchez Jr., we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Many don’t know that being a DJ/Producer and being part of events organisation (DOOM Bogotá-Shout to my team: Freddy Quiroga, Jorge Esguerra and Felipe Cardoso), could be stressful and exhausting. Travels sound like a fun idea but you’re 90% of the time alone. And doing massive Electronic music events is a lot of Hard work for a Lot Of Pressure. In the end, we have to love What we do as I was and we were born to this.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My artist name is Sánchez Jr. and I’m a DJ and producer of Techno / Trance / Hard Techno styles. My career has been full Of amazing moments such as being a worldwide known artist into my industry, visiting the world and as Many countries and cities as I could. I feel proud of playing and showing my art on Big and amazing events, And the best techno clubs in the world such as Tresor, RSO, Monasterio, DOOM events, Under Club, And more.
I was not easy. I had a lot Of challenges But I overcame them by focusing on myself and being disruptive. I learned to be patient without stop working and working until it gave results.
My story needs to be heard as I inspired many newcomers to be fearless and break the wall and common mindset of being South American and not being able to accomplish your artistic Path.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am currently based in Bogotá. I would show my best friend the diversity of gastronomic offers in our cosmopolitan city. “What you don’t find un Bogota, it’s because it doesn’t exist”. I’d take him/her for my favorite restaurant Don Doh, then having a couple drinks at Yumi Yumi. And get ready for the night to have good music on a DOOM Bogotá party. About places, we could go to a morning walk to Monserrate Hill and see the city after a night out. And meet ROSS Récords, a place where Many artistic minds are gathered for music, tattoo and fashion.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
DOOM Bogotá, DOOM Festival and my Team: Freddy Quiroga, Jorge Esguerra and Felipe Cardoso.
