We had the good fortune of connecting with Sasha Genenfeld and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sasha, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind MIRROR’s success is emotional precision — we understood not just what people want, but how they want to feel. We give everyone the experience of a professional shoot — without the pressure, the crew, or the price tag. Iit’s about making people feel like stars in a space that’s theirs. That emotional impact is what built our community — the Mirror Family — and what keeps it growing.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve spent over 12 years in the photography
and film industry — working on fashion sets, commercials, and film productions. I know exactly what it takes to create a professional shoot: the lighting, the angles, the environment, the confidence it brings. But I also saw how exclusive and expensive that world can be — not everyone has access to it. That’s what inspired me to create MIRROR.

That’s how MIRROR was born. It’s not just a studio — it’s a culmination of everything I’ve learned about light, set design, privacy, beauty , and power.

MIRROR gives people the experience of a real, high-level shoot — without the crew, without the pressure, and without the high cost. Everything — from the lighting to the setup — is built with industry knowledge and precision. It’s about giving everyday people the same tools and atmosphere that celebrities get. That’s what I’m most proud of: bringing a professional standard to a wider audience, while keeping it stylish, fast, and affordable.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely — my husband deserves a huge shoutout. He’s been my rock and my biggest believer from day one.

Building MIRROR hasn’t been easy, but having someone by your side who truly sees your vision — and reminds you of it when things get hard — makes all the difference.
