We had the good fortune of connecting with Savannah Martinez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Savannah, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Hello Kitty hunting or Hello Kitty events. It gives me joy to see stuff that I wanted to see when I was a kid.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Right now, I am currently working a trainee job to become a Pharmacy Technician but on top of that I am a content creator on Instagram and Tiktok. I would say my aura and energry is what sets me apart from others. I am extremely dedicated to Sanrio and Hello Kitty. I would love to pursue content creating full time eventually. Professionally, I would say I am exactly where I need to be. I am starting to see the connections and meeting higher up people in the Sanrio Company. It hasn’t been easy, content creating is extremely hard to keep up with and let alone staying active and actively posting. It is socially draining sometimes. I have learned that in the Sanrio community, we are all supporters of each other and we don’t like negativity or drama. And one lesson I have learned in the content creating world, you can’t tell everyone your next steps. Not everyone watches or follows your account because they support you. I want the world to see how much Hello Kitty brings happiness to all ages, not just kids but also adults. And if your a Sanrio lover at all you should definetly subscribe and follow me to stay updated on Hello Kitty events.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a total foodie. I am also a Yelp Elite reviewer. I would take them to my favorite coffee shops and cafes. I would take them to all the Sanrio stores in California since there is multiple. I would take them to the Hello Kitty cafe for afternoon tea time and then cocktail hour. There are amusement parks to go to like Knotts berry farm or disney land. There are lots of fun things to do in California for the Sanrio community.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I shoutout my parents first. If it wasn’t for them and their support I wouldn’t have kept pursuing content creating but they kept encouraging me. I also would love to shoutout Sanrio, they keep hitting home for me with all of their new events coming up and merchandise. If it wasn’t for Sanrio, I would not be contenting creating like how I am now.
