Meet Scrappy Ramirez | PROFESSIONAL BOXER

We had the good fortune of connecting with Scrappy Ramirez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Scrappy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factors behind my success would be “Purpose, Self belief followed with Risk taking”. My purpose wakes me up every morning, my self belief helps me destroy my competition, & the ability to take risks gets me in rooms few can imagine.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a professional boxer, I have a unique career. Started boxing in 2017 at the age of 20. Late. Made my professional debut December 18th, 2021 at the age of 24. Currently 27 years of age & 7 years in the business of boxing. My current record is 11-0-8KO’s I am the WBA CONTINENTAL CHAMPION, NABA CHAMPION & ABO CHAMPION, Also ranked #1 fighter in the world in my weight class (Super Flyweight). I’m proud of myself for believing in myself for accomplishing everything I said I would accomplish. Everyone doubted me but Self belief, hard work, and dedication got me here. Was the process easy? Absolutely not. I’ve gone through every emotion. I’ve cried, laughed, been sad, angry, upset, felt doubtful… the list goes on & on but I’ve never stopped or complained. I’ve manage to use those emotions as fuel to keep moving forward. One of many things that I’ve learn is we’re in control of our destiny. You can have whatever you want in this world but you must believe and put the work in. I want the world to know how great I am, and the only way to make that happen is by showing the world how great I am.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a S/o to Johnny de la Cruz, What’s your hustle, 3 point management & jaxon boxing. A wise man once told me if you want to move fast go alone, if you want to go far move together. I’m extremely grateful for my team… “One team, one goal, one mission“ we live and die by it. Thank you all !
