We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sean, what role has risk played in your life or career?
In 100 years we will not be here. With that said, why not take the risks needed to pursue your dreams? Why not take leaps of faith? Why not?? I would much rather live my life knowing I at least gave myself a fair shot at something by taking the necessary risks than to live in regret by playing it safe. They say on the other side of risk is reward and I truly believe that. I believe that a certain level of success cannot be reached without a gamble.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a kid I loved two things. Basketball and music. When I tore my acl in college I decided to put all my energy into music. I started off as a rapper and was blessed enough to have traveled different parts of the world all through music. I was able to experience different cultures, different food, different people. I will never take that for granted. I became a father in 2015 and wanted to be home as much as possible so I then put all of my focus in music production and decided to leave the rap alone. It was a tough decision but I knew it was going to give me the time needed to adjust to fatherhood and still do what I love for a living without being gone too much. I stuck with it and in October of 2020 I signed a deal to Bird Vision Entertainment. Shoutout to Bird and Donbo. They signed me during the pandemic, crazy!! I’m just thankful I never gave up on myself. It’s definitely not easy but when you believe in yourself and meet that with action you pretty much give your life no other option but to grant your wishes.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To me, the number one place in the world is the beach. And California has some of the best beaches on the planet so we would definitely hit the beach, it clears my mind and that’s where I find answers to a lot of questions I may have in life.

For sure have to take em to Roscoe’s and maybe some authentic Mexican food too. We got some of the best out here.

It would be a chill week, if they wanted to hit Hollywood or had some bucket list things they wanted to do we could do that too. We would also be doing a lot of hanging out at the studio. Gotta get work done but the vibes in the right studio is always a good time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Shoutout to my Grandma watching over me. She’s gone but I can still feel her spirit every single day. I can still hear her voice, it keeps me calm when things seem to be getting out of hand at times.
I want to make her proud and I hope I am doing a good job.
