Meet Sean Ev | Musical Artist & Brand Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean Ev and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sean, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
My passion for artistry began young when I was 9 years old when I wrote my first rap. I just knew since then I wanted to be a creative & I wanted to be an inspiration to my friends & even further the world.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been making music seriously since 2018 when I dropped my first tape on DSP’s titled “F.T.L.O.M”, which changed my life and made me super focused on chasing my dream. What sets me apart from others is my character because I’m a real genuine person that is relatable and I live for the people not the internet. I’m most proud of my development from my early stages of rapping, I’ve given so much to the game and don’t regret anything. I got to where I’m at just waking up being borderline delusional everyday thinking about my dream and me wanting it so bad I’ll do what’s necessary to get it. It has been a long journey getting here I’ve cried, smiled , laughed, second guessed myself, I’ve felt every emotion but I want it so bad. I’ve Learned to believe in yourself and love yourself because you are the one that’s going to get you to the top. I want the world to know that 1K4L.Global stands for being pure in whatever you do and truly believe in yourself and stay real, don’t sell out stay true.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Out here in LA I got a few spots for someone to visit,

For some good eats: Bossa Nova, Bates fish market, Simply wholesome, Mike’s deli, hibachiana grill , del frisco’s .

I don’t really drink that much so I kind of go wherever my friends drag me to.

Hang out spots: Studio , car meets, somewhere in the hood where I feel safe, melrose, studio again.

I think when people hang out they should pick a place that interest them the most, don’t hangout where the hype is. Hang out where you have a real interest in going.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to God for blessing me & picking me to be a leader in this world.

I want to shoutout my Parents for having me & letting me chase my dreams.

I want to shoutout my team 1K4L.Global for constantly pushing me to be great.

I want to shoutout my mentor Victor Burnett II for pushing me and getting me out of my comfort zone.

I want to shoutout all my close friends & family they all know who they are ! I love y’all .

Shoutout “The Power of now” by Eckhart Tolle a book I read that opened my eyes to being grateful and being present in the moment.
