We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean Michael Crane and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sean Michael, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I’ve taken constant steps to push myself and my career in the coaching industry since coming home from prison four years ago. I’ve invested in coaches before I had the money to do so . I’ve spoken at events and shared my message before I was “ ready “. And I’ve always put myself out there before I felt comfortable to do so because it is those decisions that have sparked growth and allowed me to expedite my results over and over again..

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey as coach, speaker and motivational figure began in prison of all places. When I was incarcerated at the age of 23 I made a commitment to myself that I would give my all everyday to persevere through that adversity and become someone I was truly proud of. After three years of relentless action and growth through the daily habits I was forgoing I felt compelled to share what I had found with others. Over the course of the next 2 1/2 years I went on to mentor dozens of other inmates. These men would approach me and ask questions like “ Sean how are you so motivated “? Sean how do you stay so disciplined “ or “ Sean I want to workout with you and get in better shape.” I would workout daily with these inmates , talk to them about their future and what they wanted from life and I even helped several of them enroll in the college correspondence program I was in. In those 2 1/2 years I saw many of these men form life changing habits, develop positive self talk , overcome limiting beliefs that had kept them stuck in life and make powerful changes to elevate their identity entirely. It was in that moment I realized helping others was my purpose in this lifetime. During my time of incarceration I was able to speak in various self help groups and programs that were offered and even gave a message speech in front of the warden and inmate population before returning home . Speaking became and art form and passion I have continued to hone ever since.

The Unstoppable Coaching Program is my Elite Self Mastery Program for Men. I literally turned the steps I implemented in prison into a life changing program for men who are settling in life but know in their heart they are made for more.

Since returning home in 2017 I’ve helped hundreds of men from all over the world combat negative thinking, depression, addiction and living a life devoid of purpose. I help my clients create discipline , confidence and clarity through a specific process that elevates their mindset and instills powerful habits. My program can take anyone at any stage if their personal development and push them to the next level . I teach universal principles that create life changing results when followed .The strategies and principles I teach cover every aspect of one’s life : self talk, belief systems, daily routines , exercise, confidence creation and how to live a life of purpose.

My message is simple “ If I could turn 2,007 days in prison into the most positive and productive days of my life to that point , what’s your excuse “????

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them out in nature and we would we engaging in something that was extremely difficult and demanding. I have found endurance training to be one of the most spiritual and enlightening endeavors one could experience.

My idea of “ fun “ is not what most people think about when they describe a “ good time .”

I would probably take my friend to Zion Utah to compete in an ultramarathon or at the very least hike and traverse the landscape in that region.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My uncle Mike always reminded me that I was a good person capable of great accomplishments even when I was enduring hardships and adversity growing up in a broken home with parents struggling with addiction.

I’ve had help every step of the way on my journey: extended family, business mentors, my wife and countless others who have believed in me and supported me on this journey.
