Hi Serv, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
In reflecting on my career, I recognize that taking calculated risks has been fundamental to my professional development. For instance, when our first-ever client requested a website built with WordPress, I was initially panicked because, until that point, I had only developed custom websites using direct coding. Despite my lack of experience with WordPress, I decided not to turn the client away. Instead, I embraced the challenge, dedicating over eight hours a day to learn the ins and outs of WordPress. Despite the challenges, I successfully delivered the project in two months. This experience opened up new opportunities, allowing us to attract more clients seeking WordPress websites. Like many other challenges, it provided a crucial learning opportunity and helped shape my resilience. My philosophy has always been that without risk, there are no rewards. These experiences have taught me the importance of risk assessment and reinforced my ability to recover and learn from setbacks. As I look to the future, I see my capacity to manage risks as an asset, especially in environments that require innovation and adaptability.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My fiancée and I love adventures, especially visiting national parks. We like to start early, driving to a park where we can find challenging trails with beautiful views. After a morning of hiking, we usually stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic spot to relax and enjoy nature. We might spend the afternoon taking photos of wildlife and landscapes or just enjoying the quiet of the outdoors. As the day ends, we often stop at a local restaurant that serves fresh, farm-to-table food to enjoy a nice meal before heading home.

When I meet up with a friend, our day takes a different turn. We usually explore new local restaurants, choosing places we haven’t tried before to add an element of surprise to our culinary adventures. Over meals, our conversations wander from business ventures to gym routines, and we share personal achievements and future aspirations. These meetups are not just about good food but also about strengthening bonds and encouraging each other in our respective journeys. Whether it’s a new diner downtown or a trending bistro, each meal adds a new layer to our friendship, making each outing memorable.

Yes, I would like to express my gratitude to my fiancée and my family for their unconditional support and encouragement, as well as to my business partners for their trust and collaboration. Most importantly, I am grateful to myself for not giving up and consistently striving to improve every day. Some might question why I would give myself a shoutout, but it’s because no one knows and loves me as much as I do myself. I am the architect of my own successes and failures.
