Meet Seth Bresin | Videographer & Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Seth Bresin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Seth, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risk-taking has always been a key part of my journey, both personally and professionally. I believe that taking calculated risks is essential for growth and innovation. It’s about stepping out of your comfort zone and pushing boundaries to reach new heights. Over the years, risks have opened doors to unexpected opportunities, even when the outcome wasn’t guaranteed.
A defining moment for me was when I took a huge risk purchasing my company. Going into debt both with the purchase and the equipment needed for my film business was daunting, but I knew it was a necessary step to build something sustainable and impactful. That leap of faith—leveraging my financial resources and committing to something I believed in—was terrifying, but it pushed me to work harder, think smarter, and navigate challenges with a clearer focus.
In my career, taking risks has allowed me to challenge the status quo and explore paths that others might shy away from. Some of my most rewarding experiences have come from moments where I took a chance, even when the odds seemed uncertain. Of course, not every risk has paid off, and there have been plenty I wish I never took. However, each one has taught me something invaluable—whether it was resilience, adaptability, or creativity.
Ultimately, I see risk as an opportunity to learn and evolve. It’s not about being reckless; it’s about trusting your instincts, weighing the potential outcomes, and knowing that you can always pivot and adapt along the way. Without risk, growth is limited, and innovation remains just a dream.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Something that sets me apart is the unique products we deliver. Not only do we provide a highlight video, but we also offer a full-length video that captures the entire experience. What makes these full-length videos special is that there’s no moment left out. At these events, so many small, yet significant moments can be easily forgotten, and we make sure to preserve them for our clients. It’s these moments that often mean the most, and knowing that we’re able to capture everything is what I’m most proud of.
For me, this was definitely the biggest risk I’ve ever taken in my life. I was genuinely worried that if it didn’t work out, I would end up completely upside down. I put everything on the line and worked tirelessly to advertise my business, reaching out to everyone I knew and expanding my network. It wasn’t easy, but the hard work eventually paid off, and the risk has brought me to where I am today. I wouldn’t be where I am without that commitment and determination.
Some of the best lessons I’ve learned are simple but invaluable. First, people always remember how you made them feel, especially on their special days. That’s why professionalism under pressure is everything. Second, communication is key—good communication is worth more than gold in this business. It keeps everything running smoothly and helps build lasting relationships with clients.
We are a full-service videography company that specializes in capturing events and creating timeless, documentary-style films. Our pride lies in delivering beautiful, authentic footage that tells the story of each unique event. Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate event, or any special occasion, we take immense pride in preserving those moments in a way that will last forever. Our focus is on the little details, the ones that make each event truly unforgettable.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting LA, I’d kick things off with a beach day—whether it’s Venice Beach for the lively atmosphere or Santa Monica for a more laid-back vibe, we’d soak up the sun and enjoy the ocean breeze. For food, I’d take them to UOVO for incredible handmade pasta, Perch for a beautiful rooftop dinner with French cuisine, Sugarfish for top-notch sushi, and Yamato’s for an unforgettable hibachi experience. We’d also explore LA’s stunning viewpoints, like Runyon Canyon or Griffith Park, to get breathtaking views of the city. As for nightlife, I’d hit up The Room in Santa Monica for a club vibe and Bar Lis, a rooftop spot in Hollywood with amazing views of the city.
Throughout the week, I’d introduce them to my favorite hangout spots and experiences. The best part, though, would be spending time with my friends, who have become like family to me. I’d show them the unique neighborhoods of LA, from Venice’s quirky charm to the cool vibes of Silver Lake and Echo Park. We’d even take a trip to Malibu for the wineries or venture to Santa Barbara and Solvang for a change of scenery. It’s all about the memories—the food, the views, the people—and making sure my friend experiences the best of what LA has to offer.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to dedicate this shoutout to Brian Starkman, my mentor, and truly one of my best friends in life. Brian has been an unwavering source of guidance through both my business and personal struggles. His wisdom, insight, and support have played an instrumental role in shaping my journey, and I honestly can’t thank him enough for that.
Whether it was providing clarity during tough decisions, offering advice in moments of doubt, or simply being there when I needed someone the most, Brian has always been a constant presence. His generosity with his time and knowledge has not only helped me navigate the complexities of business ownership but has also taught me invaluable life lessons.
Beyond his incredible professional insight, Brian is just an all-around incredible man. He’s someone whose integrity, character, and kindness continue to inspire me daily. I am so grateful for the friendship we’ve built, and I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without him. Brian, this one’s for you my man.
