We had the good fortune of connecting with Shaun Marson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shaun, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After seeing College Humlr and Two Best Friends, I always wanted to create something in a similar vein with my friends. That passion led me to start Trill Hippy – a space where we could have fun, express ourselves creatively, and bring our ideas to life with full creative freedom.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a Twitch streamer, but I see myself as more than just a content creator—I’m a creator in every sense of the word. Beyond streaming, I’m working on my own video games, books, and eventually, cartoons. I have a vision for the kind of projects I want to bring to life, and I’m constantly pushing myself to build something meaningful. It’s not just about making content; it’s about creating worlds, stories, and experiences that resonate with people.

More importantly, I want to do things that excite me while staying in a space where I feel comfortable. Creativity should be fulfilling, not forced, and I’m focused on pursuing what truly inspires me. Whether it’s streaming, developing new projects, or experimenting with different forms of storytelling, my goal is to keep growing and pushing boundaries in ways that feel right for me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There are few video game lounges in NY like Uptown Gaming Bar and Lounge down on Broadway, Coexist GameHouse and OS NYC

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my family, especially my cousins, for always being there for me. Their support, encouragement, and belief in me have meant everything. I also want to acknowledge a few close friends who have stood by my side through thick and thin. All in all, I’m incredibly grateful for the people in my life who have helped shape my journey and continue to believe in me.
