meet Shiah Luna | Actor / Singer / Songwriter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shiah Luna and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shiah, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Storytelling is ingrained in my essence. Music flows through me like air, and acting is a gateway to exploring the depths of the human psyche. I couldn’t envision myself pursuing any other path. Creating brings me joy and fulfillment.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art combines singing, songwriting, and acting. When I dive into a project, all facets of my creativity converge to bring the creation to life. Each art form within me overlaps, yet each has a life of its own within a specific role or song. Embracing each unique approach adds a special touch to my creative expression. I feel like it’s layered and multi-faceted, which keeps each project exciting and fresh!
Understanding your strengths is crucial for success in business. It’s also important to put in the effort to evolve and grow in areas you’re interested in exploring further. Keep putting in the hours even when no-one sees where you are going or what you are doing. You have to believe in you 1st!
I am very honored to be on NBC’s TV show ‘FOUND”. I play Ada Wagon in the “Missing While Indigenous” episode and will be in an upcoming episode of “INTO THE WILD FRONTIER” series.
I am grateful for other projects like “Trayizon”, “The Redeemer” & “The Chimera Effect” all out on streaming platforms.
As for music, I am super excited for my upcoming release with DJ Sol called “LA Vida Es Bella / Life Is Beautiful” out on May 31st and for a new music video to my latest single “Eternal Love” out now on all streaming platforms!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely plan some adventures in Malibu. Grab sushi and watch the Sunset. On another night we would go to my favorite Jazz night at The Sun Rose on Sunset. I love listening to the Rocha Collective live on a Friday night. I would also set up some days to hike in LA! We have so many to choose from. I would also see what concerts are playing at the Hollywood Bowl and see a show!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m thankful for the support of my parents, family members & close friends who have nurtured my artistic endeavors since childhood. Mrs. Clark, my choir teacher, recognized my potential as a singer in my high school days, while Pastor Touré Roberts has been a source of guidance and inspiration throughout the last 12 years. Oprah Winfrey’s book ‘What I Know for Sure’ has also inspired me to stay driven in pursuing my passions while overcoming hardships.
