We had the good fortune of connecting with Sierra Marin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sierra, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
The most important decision I have made on the journey to where I am now is to follow the callings of my heart, regardless of all seeming earthly or societal limitation…however impossible it seemed…to allow myself to fully believe in my art and trust that the greatest support will be provided at every step of the path.

I feel that this is the greatest factor in creating the life of our dreams. Letting ourselves really have it and know that it IS possible, we ARE capable, we ARE worthy, and that my showing up in this world doing what I love is actually a service to the greater whole. Following my dreams and acting wholeheartedly with that intention can and has inspired others to do the same, and this is the greatest thing I could ask for. Any amount of healing and empowerment that any soul on this earth has received from the music and messages that come through me shows me that I have been successful.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is a deep reflection of the journey on earth as a spiritual being…of my process in re-membering who I am And what I came here to do and be. Learning to navigate this life with love and trust, and with an honoring of the shadow, the pain, the challenges that ultimately prove to further ones growth and certainty in their light!

I’ve played music since I began learning piano at 9 years old and music has provided me a sanctuary within which I have found my peace, my flow, my catharsis, my presence, and my connection to all of creation.

What a gift it has been.

Music has brought me through the toughest initiations of my life and back into an empowered sense of self, in trust and love!

It has not been easy and still isn’t. But it’s why I’m here in this earth, so I will forever share my heart and soul through these melodies and beats, this poetry in song.
And teach and empower others to do the same! I have seen first hand how potent a tool for positive change music can be. Revolutionary Music Is the soundtrack to an evolving planet, and messages of love and remembrance of the connectedness of all beings can help provide a route back to a planet in peace. I know this and I will stand behind it for the rest of this life.

I hope the world knows that I am creating from my heart and that they may find some sense of inspiration and joy within themselves when they listen to the music I produce.

I hope to inspire other women to own and express their voice as our voices have been suppressed for far too long, and this is our time to rise and shine like the sun. The same is true for all of us!

I dedicate my shoutout to every person who has created art/music from their heart and leapt into the unknown in a world that can make such an act seem impossible. To each person who has trusted their inner wisdom enough to anchor their visions and inspirations into this earth…you make this world a better place and I honor you.
