Meet Soraya Bowen | Luxury Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Soraya Bowen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Soraya, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I was born in London and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, when I was 10, which has given me a unique blend of cultural perspectives and professional experiences. My mother had a career in interior design and architecture, and her influence was profound in shaping my approach to work and creativity.
Growing up surrounded by her work, I developed a deep appreciation for the intersection of aesthetics and functionality. Her career taught me the value of attention to detail, the importance of understanding client needs, and the impact of thoughtful design. These lessons have been instrumental in my own career in real estate, where I apply these principles to create compelling and effective solutions for clients.
My background has also instilled in me a strong sense of adaptability and a global perspective, enabling me to navigate diverse environments and connect with people from different backgrounds. This combination of influences has been fundamental in shaping my professional identity and approach to challenges.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business centers around real estate, with a special focus on working with athletes and entertainers in both Atlanta and Los Angeles. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of the unique needs and preferences of clients in these high-profile industries, combined with my background in interior design and architecture. This allows me to offer a personalized and nuanced approach to finding the perfect property, whether it’s a luxurious home or a strategically located investment.
I’m most proud of how I’ve leveraged my diverse experiences to build a successful real estate practice that prioritizes client satisfaction and tailored solutions. One of the key milestones in my journey has been becoming a licensed real estate professional in both Atlanta and Los Angeles, which has significantly expanded my reach and ability to serve clients in two major markets.
The path to establishing my business hasn’t been without its challenges. Navigating the competitive real estate landscape, especially in two distinct markets, required resilience and adaptability. I’ve faced obstacles such as market fluctuations and the need to continuously stay updated on industry trends. Overcoming these challenges involved a combination of strategic planning, ongoing education, and building strong professional relationships.
Through these experiences, I’ve learned the importance of persistence, adaptability, and maintaining a client-focused approach. Success in real estate comes from a commitment to understanding each client’s unique needs and delivering exceptional service, even in the face of market uncertainties.
What I want the world to know about my brand is that it’s built on a foundation of expertise, integrity, and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve their real estate goals. My mission is to provide a seamless and rewarding experience for every client, ensuring they find not just a property, but a place that truly meets their needs and aspirations.
Overall, my story is one of dedication and growth, driven by a passion for real estate and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of my clients.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We will start off with breakfast at Eggslut in Grand Central Market. In the morning, hike at Runyon Canyon or the Santa Monica stairs for panoramic city views. Relax or skate at Manhattan Beach and explore the nearby shops and eateries. Spend the day indulging in luxury shopping along Rodeo Drive and The Grove. Enjoy lunch at Spago Beverly Hills, The Crossroads on Melrose etc. before heading to Santa Monica Pier to watch the beautiful sunset. Go for a scenic drive along the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), taking in the stunning coastal views that LA is famous for. Stop for a meal at a picturesque spot along the PCH or in Malibu. We’re really lucky in LA, there’s an abundance of places to explore.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my mom, whose career in interior design and architecture has had a profound impact on my life. Her dedication to her craft and her ability to transform spaces with creativity and precision have been a constant source of inspiration for me. Watching her navigate her career with passion and commitment taught me invaluable lessons about work ethic, creativity, and the importance of understanding and meeting client needs. I also want to acknowledge my dad, whose support and wisdom have been instrumental in my journey. His guidance and encouragement have helped me navigate challenges and stay focused on my goals.
I’m grateful for the support of my God mother. Her unwavering encouragement and belief in me have provided a solid foundation and helped me stay motivated. She has celebrated my successes and been there during the tough times, making her contribution to my journey invaluable.
I want to acknowledge my friends and the supportive communities and mentors/brokers I’ve encountered throughout my career. The encouragement and guidance from these individuals and groups have been instrumental in helping me pursue my goals and grow professionally. Whether through formal mentorship or informal support, their belief in me has been a factor behind my success.
Lastly, definitely not least my wonderful sons, Joshua and Ricardo who are the driving force behind everything that I do.
