We had the good fortune of connecting with Stefan Costa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stefan, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
That question takes me back 12 years ago, when I decided to move to United States, I was a 23 years old just Graduated in International Business. The unknown gave me butterflies in my stomach, but I knew deep inside that some major shift was about to happen… A few years here in US, after reading books and documentaries I realized how powerful the mindset and law of attraction are. These two, brought me to a leadership role in the corporation I wanted 8 years ago, not only knowing that so much more was still to come, I kept pushing myself to do better and grow year over year…. So 6 years ago I took another big step and decided to invest in my Real Estate career, and I couldn’t be happier, working with clients, helping them most times buying their first home its amazing and fulfilling… That feeling of handling the keys of a new home to someone that has always dreamed of it, its priceless, specially if that person is one of your closest friends. Sometimes people ask me, aren’t you afraid of risking with those big decisions, I always respond, you never know the outcome until you try. So 3 years ago I decided that the sky was the limit, and opened my Real Estate development business, where I buy, renovate and resell homes in Southern California, with the current Real Estate market I feel blessed to make this move, a big part of my Real Estate career and as an Entrepreneur

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I believe being a risk taker was always my biggest strength, the path to become a successful Entrepreneur is not always the easiest but its quite rewarding, seeing the projects of my renovations coming to life is just amazing ans so is handling keys of new homes to my clients.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A love Riding bikes from Santa Monica to Venice, the breeze, the scenery is just breathtaking. The hike of the Runyon Canyon is also one of my favorites with the views of the entire city, which is why I live so close to it now. The hike to the Hollywood sign is also one of my favorites and now I started to explore hikes with waterfalls around the LA area through an app called Alltrails, its pretty amazing

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Documentary THE SECRET had a major impact in how I started to manage my decisions since becoming and Entrepreneur
