We had the good fortune of connecting with Stefanie Pollack and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stefanie, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Here’s a revised version of your response with a more approachable, warm, and friendly tone:

“Growing up in Studio City, which at the time felt like a cozy small town just outside the hustle and bustle, has now blossomed into a lively hub filled with trendy shops and restaurants where people dream of living. Even with all this exciting growth, I’m dedicated to keeping our community spirit alive by fostering connections and getting to know our neighbors, preserving that beloved small-town charm.

My family, with its strong values of entrepreneurship and lending a helping hand, taught me early on the importance of skills like negotiation, customer service, and above all, integrity. These values shape my approach in real estate, where I focus on truly understanding and prioritizing my clients’ needs while building genuine, trusting relationships.

I also grew up understanding the power of perseverance and attention to detail—qualities that have become cornerstones in navigating the ever-changing real estate landscape. This mindset helps me stay adaptable and proactive, ensuring I provide the best possible service, no matter the market conditions.

On top of that, I love bringing people together through community events, which not only strengthen our neighborhood bonds but also enrich my own understanding of the diverse needs of my clients. This involvement makes me a more empathetic and effective agent, always ready to lend an ear or offer a helping hand.”

This version aims to convey your warmth and friendliness, highlighting your dedication to community and client relationships.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
When people ask what makes my real estate business different, the answer is simple: me. My personal touch, empathy, transparency, and genuine care are woven into everything I do. Real estate isn’t just about closing deals—it’s about guiding people through life-changing moments with trust and heart.

That philosophy is at the center of the community events I’ve built over the years: the annual food drive that’s now in its 12th year, the Sundae Ice Cream Social that kids beg to come back to, and even the not-so-glamorous shredding event that neighbors secretly love. Each one has been about more than logistics—they’ve been about bringing people together, creating connection, and reminding us that neighborhoods are stronger when we know and support one another.

One of the most powerful examples of this came during the wildfires. I could feel the collective worry—friends, family, neighbors—everyone wanted to help but many didn’t know how, or couldn’t travel far to drop off donations. I realized there was a need right here in our community, so I created the Help Heal Our Neighbors Wildfire Donation Drive.

What began as a one-day effort quickly turned into something much larger. My driveway became a mini relief center, filled with donations that were sorted, organized, and ready to go. People came to drop off items and often stayed to help, finding comfort and connection in being part of something bigger. I partnered with businesses across the valley to expand drop-off sites, met incredible people along the way, and even provided supplies firefighters specifically requested. Distribution centers told us how grateful they were to receive sorted donations—it meant families could get what they needed faster. For days, it felt like the whole community was working together, each of us doing our part. It was proof that sometimes all it takes is one small spark of effort to bridge the gap and create something meaningful.

Of course, balancing the growth of my career while navigating motherhood came with its juggling acts. But I’ve always been motivated, determined, and fully committed to succeeding. Each challenge only pushed me to grow stronger, both as a professional and as a mom. And while the path hasn’t always been easy, my focus has never wavered: to build a business that’s about more than houses—it’s about helping people, creating trust, and making sure my clients feel cared for at every step.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of the best parts about living and working in Studio City is how much character the area has. It’s not just about the houses—it’s about the restaurants, the local shops, the trails, and of course, the people who make it all come alive.

If you want a true taste of local life, the Sunday Studio City Farmers Market is a must. Between the live music, fresh flowers, and a breakfast burrito that has earned a loyal following, it captures the energy and charm of the neighborhood perfectly. Ventura Boulevard is another highlight, lined with unique boutiques and home to so many incredible sushi spots that it’s affectionately known as “Sushi Row.”

For the outdoorsy types, Fryman Canyon is my go-to. It’s the kind of hike that gives you just enough of a challenge to feel accomplished—without leaving you regretting your decision halfway through. And if food is your love language, you’ll never run out of choices here, from neighborhood gems like Laurel Tavern to the big, bold flavors of Bestia downtown.

Part of the magic of Los Angeles is that within about 20 minutes—traffic willing—you can trade canyon views for beach sunsets, high-end shopping for farmers market strolls, or a quiet café for a concert under the stars at the Hollywood Bowl. That blend of energy, culture, and variety is what makes this city endlessly exciting.

Studio City, in particular, strikes the perfect balance: it’s vibrant and full of life, yet still has that cozy, community-driven feel that makes you want to put down roots.

At the end of the day, my business isn’t just about real estate—it’s about people. It’s about creating connections, building trust, and showing up for the community in both big and small ways. Every food drive, every client meeting, every neighborhood event—it all comes back to the same goal: to make a positive impact.

I love helping people find their homes here in Studio City and beyond, but even more than that, I love helping them feel at home in their lives. That’s the heart of my story, and the reason I wake up every day excited to keep building, keep connecting, and keep giving back.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When people think of real estate, they often picture contracts, open houses, and For Sale signs planted neatly on front lawns. But for me, real estate has never just been about houses—it’s about people. It’s about community, connection, and those small but meaningful ways we can support each other in both everyday life and in times of need. My career has grown from those values, and it’s what continues to drive me forward: a passion for helping people feel at home, not just in their houses, but in their neighborhoods and in their lives.

I’m deeply grateful to the people who have shaped and supported me along this journey. My parents, both entrepreneurs, instilled in me the belief that creating something of your own is always worth the effort. Their encouragement and example gave me the courage to build a business rooted in authenticity and heart.

Then there’s my husband, who comes from the commercial side of real estate. We laugh together every day, especially when he reminds me that commercial and residential real estate are “like skiing—one is snow skiing and the other is water skiing. Both are skiing, but that’s where the similarities end.” His advice doesn’t always translate perfectly to residential, but it always makes me pause, gain new perspective, or approach things differently. Even when I don’t take his suggestions word for word, his insights help me shape my own. He’s my sounding board, my safe place, and he’s always ready for the ride.

My daughter, now 11, has also been an incredible part of my journey. She shows up to community events and food drives with the kind of excitement only a child can bring, and her joy reminds me daily why this work matters. Watching her grow into someone who loves to help others is one of my proudest joys.

And of course, none of this would be possible without my clients and my community. The trust they place in me is the greatest compliment I could receive, and it motivates me to work with transparency, empathy, and dedication every day. Their belief in me is the foundation of my business and the reason I feel so fortunate to do what I do.
