We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Kato and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The important factor behind my success is this: I always lead with love and appreciation. I am fortunate because my clients ask me to teach them how to self heal by learning true and authentic self-love so they know they are worthy and lovable. People suffer with unhappiness, fear and anger because they feel unworthy, and erroneously conclude they are unlovable especially when life doesn’t work out the way they want. In a world that is often uncertain and frightening, the fear that most people feel manifests in many different types of physical dysfunction and illness. By teaching others how to not only love themselves but also their dysfunction and illness, they connect with the wisdom of their body and begin to appreciate the messages that surface through discomfort and disease. Love of self is the most important truth because it is what heals us on every level of our being, and reminds us who we truly are. From this perspective, we can embrace and experience life as joyful, peaceful and fulfilling.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am honored to offer Metaphysical Colonics, lymphatic drainage and craniosacral therapy. My work encourage the flow within the body through the release of inflammation and congestion (physically and metaphysically). I begin each session with energywork to open, align and balance the energetic body so the physical body can flow more easily. I created Metaphysical Colonics to teach others how to view their lives, bodies, challenges and relationships from the perspective that all experiences are present to remind us of our truth: we are all love. This is true for us all and those who display behavior that causes pain have forgotten this about themselves. Our bodies create physical illness and dysfunction to assist us in waking up to our truth. When clients connect their physical issues with unresolved emotional pain, beliefs that perpetuate fear and disconnection from the spiritual aspects of themselves while physically detoxing, they experience life changing and profound epiphanies. My business was born out of my own internal healing. I think this is true for anyone in the healing arts. We often teach best when we need to learn most. By teaching my clients how to feel deep self-compassion by healing their most vulnerable selves, they release the need to punish themselves in ways that create a negative and emotionally painful cycle. The only way I can teach this today is because I embraced and worked through my own painful history. We carry our emotional experiences within the physical body and our body loves us by uncovering what no longer serves us when we are ready to receive the information. Honestly, opening my business was one of the easiest experiences I’ve ever had. I believe this is true because I was placed exactly where I was needed in perfect and divine timing. Everything literally aligned for me and my constant attitude of gratitude attracted the right contractor who came in on time, and on budget. Every person connected to the construction of my business bent over backwards to help me and did so in the most joyful manner. I am eternally grateful for all those who assisted me in opening my business then and those who continue to do so now.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I do have friends who come and visit from time to time. I love to go to Korean Spas like Olympic Spa and soak in the fabulous tubs, steam in the saunas and get body scrubs and massages. We would have a delicious korean lunch followed by a nap on the heated floor. After we would head out for a fun blues concert and dancing at Harvelle’s. The next day I would pack a healthy brunch and we would relax on the beach and go for a long walk. Then off to dinner at Margot’s in Culver City. That would be the perfect weekend for us both!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am most grateful to my spiritual guides who work with me daily and show me how to help in exactly the ways my clients need.
