We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Lytle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Integrity. I firmly believe that how we do one thing is how we do everything, and so when I started with the vision for this healing retreat center business here in Sedona AZ I kept that thought deep within my mind. I’ve had many experiences in my life that had led me to these moments behind creating yet another successful business, and the one thing that has always proven to shine through in good times or bad is who we are truly choosing to be. The integrity that we hold as humans functioning in this chaotic reality that’s being played for us is what can make or break our success, in my opinion. What this means to me is that I am who I am, who I want to be, and who I am becoming all in one. I take account for my mistakes as well as my achievements and am always willing to humble myself in the truth of others.
This is how the High Vibe Collective was born. I began to see the integrity within me, and thus reflected all around me by the incredible healers in the community of Sedona. I sought out to use my skills and background in business growth to allow for the abundance flowing through this tourist town to drip down to where it belongs, the roots of the community. We started this business wanting to break the mold that society has placed upon us where the rich get rich, and you know the rest. Our business model was the only way I could see to do this moving forward, with integrity. It only made sense to me that the practitioners and healers get paid their worth, what they say their worth. So our retreat center company is the only one in the healing meca of Sedona to not take or devalue from the ones who are really living their healing and walking the walk as the practioners working with our clients. To me, that is what creates success; living how we truly want to live.
What should our readers know about your business?
Our business, The High Vibe Collective, is a spiritual healing retreat center in Sedona AZ that promotes the healers of high integrity within the community to allow for synchronistic healing to unfold and trickle throughout the world. What sets us apart from others is our business model where we pay our practitioners and healers 100% of their asking price instead of discounting their services. We do this to begin creating the life that we truly want to be living, and creating this New Earth model of business. I feel proud of each and every one of us for continuing to look inward and see where growth truly needs to occur in order for us to receive our highest alignment.
I started my business journey back in 2008 with my first business. Since then I have had 5 brick and mortar businesses, 1 nomadic business, with this retreat center being the 6th entrepreneurial journey I’ve been on. Having sold my location based businesses, and traveling doing life coaching and business coaching, I landed myself in Sedona, AZ in 2018. I wouldn’t say that the journey to get to this place has been easy, but it has been such a beautiful learning experience along the way making each step feel like there is more strength behind it. I overcame each challenge as it presented itself not by looking outward, but by looking inward. They say the only way out is through, and so I went through my pain, through my discomfort, and really took account for what lessons were there for me to learn. This process made me become more in tune with my intuition than ever before. Each time there was a difficult challenge it truly was one that I could have seen coming if I had only been willing to tune deeper into myself and make a decision from that place inside.
My wish would be that everyone who has a dream at becoming something more than their surroundings shows them, that they can know that it is yours if you simply stay willing to dream it up. The universe is always conspiring in your favor, and is asking for you to show up to receive your gifts. That does not mean that life won’t get in your way, or the programming that ensues won’t make a negative impact on your feelings. Keep re-centering inward into what you know is true. Block the distractions and negativity, literally if you need. Learn boundaries and implement them, likely with your family the most. Understand and know what your success feels like when you close your eyes, and open them to experience the life you’ve been dreaming up. Anything is possible, and you’re the one creating it.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the High Vibe Collective retreat center first, and have them drop in with one of our incredible healers enjoying a Vortex & Meditation tour, or Quantum Sound Healing, of Craniosacral Therapy, or Somatic Release Breathwork, maybe a Shamanic Journey, among so many other incredible options. You would want to be sure to check out some of the incredible hiking spots in town, early in the morning to avoid any other tourists; Devils Bridge, Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Airport Mesa, Slide Rock. If you enjoy the creek (who doesn’t) then you’ll have to make it down to the water in the hot heat of the summer.
For good eats in town you want to be sure to pop into Vespa Italian Cafe they have the best pinsa you’ll ever enjoy, Chocolatree eating in the garden is such a magical experience, and Indian Gardens up the canyon to drop in with the fairies along the creek. If you enjoy wine you’ll want to book a tour with Jim of Wine Tours of Sedona to go see the few local vineyards.
To find the hippest stuff going on in town I always recommend checking out @sedonamonthlycalendar on instagram as they post the best events happening in town. Every Saturday night there is a Conscious Dance that serves teas and elixers from 8-10pm with a live DJ (no alcohol), and every Tuesday there is free Ecstatic Dance on the Rocks at 4:30pm at Yavapai Vista Point!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank the beautiful city of Sedona and all of its people. Without you, I would still be looking for my happiness where I lost it so many years ago. You have shown me what it really is to look within, and go to the depth of my soul to find what has always been there all along. Thank you for showing up for me thicker than the blood within my family lines.
I also could not be where I am today, creating what I’m creating without the love and support of my partner in all things, Aaron. Thank you so much for helping me to see how easy life can feel, and complimenting me in the ways that I’m needing so that we can truly feel the most powerful together.
