Meet Talia Yarbrough | Life Purpose Coach and Minister

We had the good fortune of connecting with Talia Yarbrough and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Talia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business is:

1. I have a great mission to solve a big problem. Too achieve this level of impact and movement, I need to start my business.

2. I want to pave my own way and create my own success and legacy

3. I am following my calling and purpose.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a Christian based Life Purpose Coach. My business is “Divine Enrichment” and I absolutely love helping people discover and see their purpose, so they can use it to create massive impact and deep fulfillment.

I got into this business because I was doing health and wellness coaching for 10 + years and I always found myself spending more time on their purpose than their health and I began to see that this is what I was most passionate about. I also went through a period of depression after losing my mom at 16 and really connecting with my life’s purpose was what brought me back to life. The combination of these 2 really pushed me into pursuing being a life purpose coach. Getting into the field was fairly easy, but as with any business, there were definitely challenges! To name a few, this is a broad field, so narrowing down a niche was a challenge and also defining clear results was a challenge. How I overcame this and many more, was by continuing to be a student, staying in action, never quitting, and using my resources and community for support.

Some major lessons I learned along the way, is in business it’s better to be a specialist than a generalist, with God everything works better, have both the plan and the action to back it, and lastly be myself, believe in myself, and keep growing.

What I want the world to know about my brand and story is that this is about unlocking purpose and creating fulfillment in the world! Each and every one of you has a purpose for why you are here. Find it, Discover it and Live it. Your life will be so much more meaningful and fulfilling when you do. We all deserve that! Plus the world needs what you have, that special something about you, so be brave and shine your light!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would go to Hermosa Beach and grab brunch at Martha’s. I would drive out to Urban Air: an adventure park. And then shower up and have a nice dinner depending on what they like to eat. Could be P.F. Changs, Black Agnus, or something else…

Some other activities are escape rooms, Griffith Park, Culver City Stairs for a good workout, and different rooftop restaurants which I love going to.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout-out my parents and my older sister Jasmine. My mom, Talon and dad, Farris taught me I can be and do anything I want in the world as long as I give it my best. I don’t have to work a 9-5. I can start my own business to create financial freedom and make a difference. My parents were also very big in supporting my spiritual journey that helped me to see my calling.
My sister Jasmine has been my biggest supporter, encouraging me and growing with me every step of the way.
Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior deserves a huge shout-out for giving me purpose and for calling me to something greater. I would not be here at all without Him. All honor to God for showing up for me and opening doors that only He can open and blessing me with certain gifts, talents, and desires that allow me to be who I am today for my communities.
I want to thank Skylar for believing in me and helping gain clarity on my journey and recommending me for this.
Lastly, I want to shout-out my therapist Diane and my mentors Sherron, Collette, and Jia for pushing me out of my comfort zone, and stretching me to grow bigger! You all believed in me and saw something I couldn’t see for myself. I love you all!
