We had the good fortune of connecting with Tam LeBlanc and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tam, how does your business help the community?
I have TWO businesses actually. I’m a mobile art instructor and also have a spiritual practice.

I teach acrylic painting at local retirement homes for the purpose of art therapy and strengthening memory and motor skills. My spiritual practice reaches the masses, with my content on various platforms reaching people across the world.

My specialty is identifying and breaking generational curses and teaching people how to better navigate various transitional phases of life.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I left corporate America in December 2017 and launched my paint business, 3P Artistry, in March 2018. My goal was to capitalize on California’s new 420 laws by offering “puff and paint” events, but I didn’t anticipate the challenges of finding locations to host these events. Eager to create, I took on various teaching gigs that allowed me to hone my skills as both an artist and an instructor.

I taught afterschool art classes at elementary schools across Orange County, acrylic paint classes at Michael’s, and secured regular monthly classes at a few retirement homes. I’ve taught ages 4 to 94!

When Covid hit and California shut down, my classes were suspended, so I leaned into my other talents. I’ve been reading tarot since 2003 and became a full-time reader in April 2020.

My spiritual practice, “Enlightened Auntie,” happened quite by accident. I stumbled upon Astro Twitter and Tarot Twitter in 2019. Initially intimidated by the talented people I found, I soon realized their information was limited by age and experience. That’s when “Enlightened Auntie” was born.

People often told me I gave off auntie and mom vibes, which comes naturally as I am a mom. I found myself counseling people with practical guidance based on life experiences. My experiences and stories are relatable to many.

I’m known for giving no-nonsense, straightforward life counseling. My following, primarily aged 25-35, spans all over the world through social media and my YouTube channel. Since launching my website, I’ve created a tarot deck and five Oracle decks. None of it would have been possible if I hadn’t done it scared!

When Covid cleared, I eased back into art instruction. I worked for an art studio in Long Beach for a year, resumed my retirement home classes, maintained my client calendar, all while managing a household and raising my kids. None of it has been easy, but all of it has been rewarding! I’ve met amazing people and had incredible experiences.

Whether we’re painting pretty pictures or talking about astrology and life, my goal is always to leave people feeling ten times better after spending time with me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
At this stage of my life, I love various EXPERIENCES and activities. We’re going to Top Golf in El Segundo, Ax throwing at Sauced (in El Segundo or Orange), K1 Speed racing in Gardena (or Anaheim) and maybe skating at Pigeons Roller Rink at 2nd & PCH in Long Beach.

I love fun atmospheres and prime people watching!

Some of my favorite places to dine are Ola Mexican Kitchen in Long Beach (the carne asada and Baja fish tacos are AMAZING), Sauced BBQ & Spirits (El Segundo or Orange), 71 Above in DTLA, Top of the V in Anaheim, Amor Y Tacos in Cerritos and Gaucho Beach in Long Beach.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I don’t believe that I would have made it this far without the support of my AMAZING husband of 27 years… and while he may not have always seen my vision, he’s supported my decisions and has always been a cheerleader in the background. He’s always been the one thinking GO BIG OR GO HOME!

The unwavering support of my friends Trinece Levias and Jenni Gordon have always had my name mentioned in rooms I’d never been in, providing opportunities I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Their friendship and sisterhood have kept me motivated when things looked bleak.
