Meet Tamanno Kamiljanova | CEO of Earth Organic Cleaning

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamanno Kamiljanova and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tamanno, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Always wanted to operate a business and to have financial freedom. The idea of cleaning services came to me a long time ago and we executed in 2020 by opening a branch in Los Angeles and Bellevue, Seattle. It is a family operated business. We have Earth Organic Cleaning in Los Angeles and Leaf Organic Cleaning in Bellevue, Seattle. Growing up, keeping a tidy house, knowing how to cook a meal and taking care of ourselves was essential in a culture where I grew up in Uzbekistan. So pandemic was a perfect opportunity to start a business. Why not turn the cultural background and experience into a successful business? At the moment I oversee the operations in both locations and working on expanding and franchising our venture. I tried day jobs as well as a Sales Manager at Laduree Beverly Hills and was successful in opening my niche clientele with movie producing companies such as MGM, FOX studios, PBS studios and other big names in the industry. After testing myself in an office, went on to working at a Brazilian luxury women’s clothing store in Beverly Hills as a sales assistant. Having a background of door to door sales experience as an intern for our then family business, in Russia I was able to flow in sales. Thankfully all contributed in being able to close deals in cleaning business from 3 bedroom Appartments to 15,000 sq feet mansions and work with celebrities as well. Having a small business allows me to have time to work on my passion which is music supervision for movies. That is a story for another time.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We at earth organic cleaning approach each and every home like our own, caring for the details and we custom cater to each client. Most of our clients are individuals with severe allergies to chemicals and odors, so we were able to find the best products in the market to offer. We customize service to each and every client. We are a boutique style company that people can rely on.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have family and friends visiting LA all around the world. And California has a lot to offer starting from picturesque Malibu beaches to Laguna beach. West Hollywood has great spots to offer along with coastal restaurants such as Nobu, the Cliff, montage etc. I enjoy hiking so I would take them to Hollywood sign and other hiking spots. If it’s a week long trip I’d definitely visit San Diego Big Sur and San Francisco.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My father deserves all the credit for raising 5 children and having the courage to send them all to the United States for education and finding our own path in life. Since I was 4 or 5 my father used to tell us that when we all grow up, we will not be living in Uzbekistan because we need to know what else is out there and learn new things and find our own place. He always believed in the expansion of the mind by pushing us to read books, graduating college, meeting new people and always being true to ourselves. I am very close to my brothers as well and go to each one with different approach to get the best support they can provide me with.
