We had the good fortune of connecting with Tammy Hailey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tammy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success and my brand is definitely trust and credibility. In the credit repair industry, trust is paramount. I build this by being transparent and honest with my clients about what can realistically be done to improve their credit score and building their credit profile. I make sure that I always adhere to the Credit Repair Organization Act (CROA) and other relevant regulations.

What should our readers know about your business?
Around 10 years ago, I found my way into the credit repair industry after a personal incident. At the time, my husband and I were exploring the idea of opening up a dollar store, but our credit needed improvement. While seeking assistance, a lender recommended an exceptional credit repair specialist who could address our needs. Trusting their recommendation, we paid around $1600 upfront to have three accounts removed. (Since being in the industry I know that is illegal!) After several months passed, we made repeated attempts to contact this individual for updates while also reaching out to the lender for clarification. Long story short, the person completely vanished without a trace. There were no results, and we were left with the unfortunate loss of $1600.

In that situation, I found myself grappling with the question: What should we do next? Do we have to wait for seven years before pursing our dreams? However, one day, a thought struck me: If that person was supposed to handle it, then I would have to take matters into my own hands and find a way to do it myself.

Over the course of several months, I dedicated my time to extensive online research, delving into articles, resources, and legal guidelines to understand how to navigate the credit repair process. It involved a lot of trial and error, but through perseverance, I managed to unravel the complexities. Although challenging, the journey proved to be immensely rewarding, especially as I began witnessing tangible results.

Upon realizing my ability to deliver positive outcomes, I began assisting friends and family members with their credit profiles. Through word of mouth, my services quickly gained traction and took off. My driving motivation was to ensure that no one else would have to endure the same ordeal I had experienced.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If it is the summertime, I would definitely spend a day at Kennywood Amusement Park and get the best French fries ever from the Potatoe Patch and insist on getting a funnel cake on the way out. The perfect treat to end the night after riding all the great rides.

We love seafood at our house so we definitely would have a seafood boil at our house. With crawfish, crab, potatoes, sausage, corn, onions celery, garlic, all boiled in orange juice!

The best spot to get drinks, mingle with people, and listen to music would definitely be the South Side of Pittsburgh, where everyone spends the night club/bar hopping and having a good time. Then to end the night we would go to the T-station to catch the train to go on the Duquesne Incline. There a trolley from Downtown will take you up a large hillside that takes you to Mount Washington Outlook where you can overlook the whole Downtown of Pittsburgh. Beautiful scene.

Another place we would have to visit would be the Point during the Regatta events. This is where many activities and shows take place. They have jet ski shows, fireworks, concerts, food vendors, and so much more!

Here in Pittsburgh, we have many great museums. There is the Andy Warhol Museum, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, The National Aviary, and Carnegie Science Center, they are all a must see when visiting Pittsburgh.

Last but not least would have to be the iconic Rib Fest. There you have at least 20 different companies that set up Downtown and compete for the best ribs in Pittsburgh. They have everything from ribs, pulled pork, mac and cheese, pork n beans, and the list goes on.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout to my incredible husband for his unwavering support during the establishment and growth of my credit repair business. His strength, patience, and encouragement have been the backbone of this venture, continuously inspiring me to strive for success. From the late nights spent strategizing to the early mornings filled with paperwork, his support never wavered. Whether it was helping with mundane tasks, lending an ear when I needed to vent, or celebrating every little victory, his commitment remained steadfast. He not only believed in my dream but also helped to shape it into reality.
Without his invaluable counsel, endless patience, and tireless support, this journey would have been significantly more difficult. His belief in my abilities, even during moments of doubt, served as a reminder of what we can achieve when we support and uplift each other,
