We had the good fortune of connecting with Tatiana Vitiello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tatiana, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I knew certain women needed a voice and a platform, so I created a space for them to tell their stories with no judgement.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I lost the use of my legs when I was younger but I have always been treated as if I was normal. I never saw something I couldn’t do or figure out a way to do it. It wasn’t easy proving myself but I never let the word No come into play. I have had many jobs but never found the one I fit in the best, so podcasting was the way I could give others a platform to speak on their lives. And it gave me the platform to speak my own truth.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Since I live in Florida, I have always been happy to show my best friends around. We start off by grabbing a bit at the airport and then heading to the beach in my convertible. Then when lunch times rolls around we eat on the pier and board a boat to shell island after dolphin watching we head back for a seafoood dinner at a popular club with a live band. Then finish out the evening on the rooftop over looking the city and ocean.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Vilma Vitiello, my mother, who has always been my role model. If it wasn’t for her being a strong, smart, fearless single mother raising me as if I didn’t have a physical handicap, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today.
