We had the good fortune of connecting with TAVi Arellano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TAVi, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
So how I started my business, I started doing art walks in Laguna Beach. I got known as the next modren Picasso. my vision was to create a brand that people could afford. I got into some galleries and continue to do art exhibit during the process I started to incorporate products with my art, and created the TAVi Brand

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
So,after being an artist and designer, for 30 years, I created my own styling techniques, which makes me stand out from the rest. .I use bright colors powerful words that make a difference in the world.What I am, most proud of is that I open my own business with my own money and follow my heart. owning a business is not an easy thing. There’s obstacles that one must overcome I foucs and keep going. In the word no does not exist in my vocabulary. We find ways to make things happen we find solutions. I’ve learned along my journey, is trust my heart works smart and do your research. my slogan for my brand is color is freedom. I want the entire world to know that we live in a very colorful world and the color makes people happy my art, and clothing line are very colorful very inspirational

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, I would invite my friends and take them to the Getty museum a workd of knowledge of artist. And definitely take them up to Santa Barbara one of my favorite places to go. The drive is so calm and the most incredible views.
