Meet Tawney Noriega | VCBW Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tawney Noriega and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tawney, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The Ventura County Business Women (VCBW) brand is known for its commitment to fostering genuine connections and promoting holistic growth. VCBW goes beyond traditional networking by creating a vibrant community that values the integration of personal and professional aspects of women’s lives. This approach helps women thrive both in their businesses and personal development journeys.
At the heart of VCBW is the creation of a safe, supportive, and empowering space for women to showcase their authenticity. Our brand encourages women to share their stories, challenges, successes, and aspirations, which helps to build genuine relationships and foster a sense of community that celebrates individuality while nurturing collective growth.
VCBW’s strength lies in its dedication to providing opportunities for women to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other. By nurturing these connections, VCBW transcends the conventional bounds of networking and creates a culture of mutual support, empowerment, and collaboration among its members.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our main focus at VCBW is to create a unique and inclusive environment for women to prosper in their personal and professional pursuits. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to fostering genuine connections, embracing authenticity, and encouraging holistic growth among our members.
We take pride in the environment we have cultivated, where women feel empowered, supported, and inspired to embrace their individual journeys. However, our journey has not been without its challenges. Building this community required dedication, perseverance, and the belief in our mission to guide and empower women to achieve their fullest potential.
We faced challenges along the way, from navigating the complexities of nurturing a growing community to adapting to the ever-evolving digital landscape. But we turned those challenges into opportunities for growth, learning the importance of adaptability, collaboration, and staying true to our values, even when faced with adversity.
Our journey has taught us invaluable lessons. We’ve learned that authenticity is the cornerstone of any thriving community. By prioritizing genuine connections and nurturing a supportive environment, we’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of these connections in both personal and professional spheres.
