Hi Taylor, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk is simply the face of uncertainty, often with some element of fear. But it’s also an invitation to expand. Every day presents risks, but the ones we choose to embrace are the ones that transform us.

In my life, risk has been a teacher. To lean into it is to say I don’t know what waits on the other side, but I trust myself to meet it. It is a bet placed on yourself with discernment. Each time we lean in, we deepen our confidence, which builds upon our capacity to step into all that is meant for us.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

Right now my focus is on creative direction & photography in the travel and hospitality space. I feel grateful that much of my work comes via word of mouth – I have the best clients!

I try not to glorify *busy*… in fact it’s really important to me. I personally work best in cycles & flow – intense, creative months followed by lighter, more spacious ones. That rhythm keeps me inspired & aligned, rather than bound to a rigid structure.

I’m in the midst of a creative project that brings together everything I’ve learned so far and weaves it into something even more aligned for me. Not quite ready to share yet but stay tuned. 🙂

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

I’m a beach bum and so are my people, so mostly beaches! Then Malibu / Topanga hikes, coffee at Primo Passo, Mar Vista Farmers Market, dinner at Cobi’s or Dudley Market. Absolutely some live music.
