We had the good fortune of connecting with Teresa Ngo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Teresa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Being an immigrant, I had always dreamed of the “American Dream” being able to make an American Product in America for Americans is as good as it gets.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We bought an existing Donut shop in Woodland Hills known as Blinkie’s Donuts. Since day one our mission was to take it to the nest level, being only 22 at the time it was quite challenging to be taken seriously but after a lot of sleepless night and determination I was able to make Blinkie’s a household name. We praise ourselves to go the extra mile, if we can do it we will!! We love being part of special occasions such as Birthdays, weddings, wedding proposal, marketing photoshoots, movies etc…. Never give up, even with my broken English I pushed thru. We love to support our local first responders. I am just an immigrant living my version of the American Dream, loving, breathing donuts. If you can’t buy happiness you can buy a donuts it’s almost the same thing lol.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Malibu beach, Santa Barbara Pier for seafood. Disneyland & Universal Studios always a must.

Would like to Shoutout to Miri Rossito Owner of COWE Communications. She has been an angel sent from heaven, extremely knowledgeable in so many different subjects.
Miri is always up for a challenge, big or small, whether it for a non profit or a huge corporation.
