Meet Teri Villalobos | Founder of Making a Memory OC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Teri Villalobos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Teri, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always taken great pride in creating magic for my family in small ways, each day. I love to take ordinary moments and make them extraordinary! I wanted to be able to share my passion for doing this with others. Making a Memory helps others bring cheer and joy to the lives of people they know and love. My passion for DIY crafting has helped inspire me with this business! I approached my friend, Rachel Svoboda, who is the CEO of Sunday Brunch. With her help, I was able to put my vision into a reality!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My most exciting pieces at Making a Memory are the Wine Bottle Bouquets. These are the perfect gifts for all occasions!  They can be customized in many different ways! The bouquets can be for men and women alike! I have recently worked with some women clients who have helped to inspire me to make the bouquets specially for the men in their lives!  Smaller bouquets are being used as party table centerpieces! I am working to expand the Wine Bouquets as a monthly membership very soon! Each bouquet is very specific to the needs of the customer! The customer can CHOOSE the bouquet size, type of spirit being used, specific flowers, and any other add ons they wish! Making a memory will be focusing in on yard sign delievries soon! I am always searching and brainstorming ways to help my clients make the happiest of memories!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The perfect week would be spent near the beach! We would drink some delicious red wine! Watch the sunset and A SUNrise! A lot of great conversation and down time with each other would be the most perfect week! I would also spend time watching a local Los Angeles Sport team in action!
