We had the good fortune of connecting with Thais Eliasen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Thais, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is part of life and with every opportunity there are high chances there are risks involved. As we know life is made of choices and choosing to take a risk or not can most definitely change not only the course of ones career but the course if ones life. Since I was a little girl I’ve been known to be a risk taker. Starting my own Public Relations Business as a mom of four was definitely a leap of faith. Taking the risk of investing my time, talent and resources in something uncertain from the ground up with no team of staff behind me at the time was most definitely one of my most fun and rewarding adventures.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I help business owners, industry leaders and entrepreneurs to conquer their space on the market providing strategies that optimize their PR, digital marketing and brand impact

I learned in the grounds of Brazilian dirt, green grasses, beaches, in the warm solo of Africa, & since 2008 here in the United States that it is within our communities, giving & receiving that we are made whole, both individually & as corporations. This is my business philosophy & how through my eyes the world goes round.

I’m a believer, a Salvationist, a Rotarian, Purple Belt in jiu jitsu & multi-tasker. I love the beach, trying new foods, traveling, my Yorkie Muffin & bunny Lola, yet the very best of it all is being a mother to four beautiful children.

In my business I treat my client’s goals like mine, & in the process we journey together to achieve it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Living in the South Bay is definitely a gift. Some of my favorite things here are the weather, the laid back California vibe and the ability to be a short distance from the mountains, desert and beaches. I love Manhattan Beach, you’ll definitely find me more times than I’d like to admit at Tacolicious eating their delish shrimp tacos, Dinner at Love Sea Salt LA always makes me happy and a short drive away to Thousand Oaks is a family friendly Brewery, Tarantula Hill I love to hang out at owned by my friend John Edney. Sharing life with family, friends and other business owners is such a delight. Celebrating each other’s accomplishments and rolling our sleeves to help each other build up is a huge privilege I don’t take it for granted.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God and my family are everything to me. I would have never gotten where I am today without their unconditional love, endless support and constant encouragement.
