We had the good fortune of connecting with Thamar Prussien and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Thamar, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
As a former nanny I understood the struggles of finding a position that paid a competitive wage and the concerns families had with finding reliable and professional childcare. While dependable, safe childcare has always been difficult for parents to find, the problem exploded after the Coronavirus pandemic hit in March 2020. When moms and dads began to solely work from home and pulled their children out of daycare and after school programs in favor of E-Learning; they wondered how they would ever balance it all. Families were suddenly in dire need of services from nannies and childcare professionals. In response, The Nanny Share Network was founded with a mission to provide families an affordable, reliable and well-rounded childcare professional while providing professional nannies with premium, in-demand jobs. I became dedicated to creating a positive healthy family styled environment between our nannies, families, and staff.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Being a member of The Nanny Share Network, our staff and clients are guided by a professional and supportive agency that helps our nannies succeed in obtaining reliable employment and our families find a child care professional that best fits their needs. We handle all aspects to make finding a childcare professional and position as smooth as possible. From your candidate search and vetting, to your candidate payments, we handle everything for you! All you have to do is choose your childcare professional!

The Nanny Share Network prides itself in successfully connecting families with nannies. However, we are not only dedicated to the care of children, but also their developmental growth. The Nanny Share Network offers a range of activity books as a fun and exciting way to keep children engaged and develop an early love of learning. In addition, we are an active member of our community. We participate in many community events, such as neighborhood festivals, attend local school events, and we also host our annual toy drive. Our goal is to not only serve the members of The Nanny Share Network but to have a positive impact on our community as a whole.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
