We had the good fortune of connecting with THE FALLN1 and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi THE, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Art is the best way to express your emotion and to get across what you feel. Pursuing music has been a childhood dream for me. Being able to create something that can make people feel something and even relate to it which in the long run might help them overcome hardships is something that makes me wanna pursue a creative career.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Nobody can make feeling sad sound so good as The Falln1—The brainchild of my creative ideas . Even the brightest Tracks i’ve made (“Tryin”,“Fall”) feel like the tracks echo darkness, the feeling that pain is pleasure and death is a release.I delved into music production and songwriting in 2021, unveiling my first album, “Vespera,” in November 2022, followed by the release of the E.P. “Dearly Beloved Desolation (DBD)”. Aarnav has released both projects “Vespera,” Both projects are interconnected through a compelling storyline revolving around the character, The Falln1, serving as my artist alias.Despite limited formal training in music production and singing, my skills are self-learned through years of listening to my inspirations. The narrative unfolds in the first album, showcasing The Falln1’s journey from a highly narcissistic self-view to a descent into the depths of self-doubt. This story continues in DBD, where he attempts to regain the feelings he once had about himself by engaging in toxic patterns to numb his pain. “Vespera” leans towards a pop sound, transitioning from brightness to darkness by the last track, while “DBD” picks up from the dark melancholic style of R&B, progressing from a grungy sound to a more subdued yet sorrowful style of pop R&B by the E.P.’s conclusion. Being a avid film watcher all of the sonic on my projects sound very cinematic.Both the album and the E.P. feature seamless transitions between songs, allowing listeners to immerse themselves in the dark and twisted mind of The Falln1, a character surprisingly relatable to many.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Top of the list would be Badmaash LA in DTLA honestly thats the closets Indian food I have had here actually reminds me of home. I would also take them to Santa Monica peir and La live for a good stroll. Maybe end the afternoon with hitting some stores on rodeo and then dinner at L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele one the best place for some amazing Italian food.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My friends who have been my constant pillars of support, they have always encouraged me to do better and pursue my talent. They a play a huge roll in this path that I’ve chosen but most of all there’s one person that has inspired me to do the most when it comes to making music and that person Michael Jackson.
