Meet Tia Noel | CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tia Noel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tia, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is putting God first. I will forever give God credit for getting me where I am today. No luck, just favor.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At the age of 18 is when I decided to become an entrepreneur. I began doing eyelash extensions . I was a freshman at CSULB and my clientele was poppin’! I remember my Mom telling me “You know you’ll never want to work for anyone else right”. Needless to say , she was right! It was something about making my own schedule and money that made me realized I wanted to be my own boss. Fast forward nearly 5 years later, my lash business is still flourishing and I received my BS in Health Science. I would say what sets me apart from others is my ability to think ahead. Although I absolutely love being a lash artist, I know that one day I may no longer be able to. So during my 4 years of undergrad I used that time to think of a plan. I knew that I did not want to work for anyone so I researched ways to incorporate my passion into a career. As a lash tech I fell in love with the beauty industry so I started my new business , T. Noel Skincare. learned what it meant to love what you do because it would never felt like work. The biggest lesson that I learned was to remain your only competitor. When you are your only competitor, there is no competition.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ahhh it’s so much to do in the LAnd! Let’s see, first I would take her to one of my favorite brunch spots in Marina Del Rey called “26 Beach”. Then we’d hit up Melrose for a little shopping. We’d go check out some of the best hiking trails , drive along the Malibu coast. & of course go to Roscoe’s. . Santa Monica and Hollywood are some cool places for visitors to check out when they come to LA. I’m a foodie so we would definitely have to go to Tao, Crustaceans, and Fixins.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shout out my parents for believing in me. They we’re there through every venture and never doubted me. I don’t know where I would be without their support. I would also like to shout out my women’s ministry Women Who Manifest, you ladies have pushed me to be the best version of myself, and for that I appreciate you all.
