We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiana Gee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiana, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
The single most important decision I made was just living for me and doing what makes me happy as far as creating what makes me happy as well.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Im very proud of where I am today and very excited about whats to come, Im working on a lot of fun projects and collaborating with lots of amazing chefs in the game as well as creatives. I’ve learned a few lessons and Im sure there are many more to come but the best lesson Ive learned so far is no matter how hard it gets to just keep pushing.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout out to my family, my true friends that support me and my craft, my mentor Marcus Samuelsson, CCAP, and everyone along the way that Ive crossed paths with that some how inspired me or gave me different perspective.
