Meet Tiffany Morello | Licensed Esthetician & Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Morello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, how do you think about risk?
I think, I don’t really think about risk at all. That may sound frivolous – but I believe each experience is a lesson learned resulting never in failure but always in knowledge. If I had been too scared to take risks for fear of failure, I wouldn’t be where I am today with my business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
When I started my esthetic journey, I worked for a master esthetician gaining knowledge and experience, a short two years later I was already seeking out a studio space of my own! I found the most adorable salon and just fell in love with the space and the owners. I then spent the next two years in my little treatment room building my brand, expanding my experience, knowledge and growing a seed which had been planted, to create my own wellness studio. My family and I had plans at that time to leave our current hometown of Santa Clarita and I had been in the process of doing some research to see what I would need in order to make my dream of a wellness studio come to fruition. I started poking around town looking at available spaces for lease to get an idea of how much I would need to be making financially to afford a larger space. Thankfully, I watched my papa run his business or much of my life growing up and this created a small foundation of knowledge regarding business ownership, I created a budget for equipment and expenses and realized I could do this! I could make my dream a reality! Our plans to move were put on hold when I walked into the first studio I looked at, which is now Haus of Skin Alchemy, I fell in love and envisioned the most beautiful offerings taking place at this quaint little studio tucked in the corner of Santa Clarita. .

The skin is the alert system for the entire body, when an internal issue is occurring – there is undoubtedly some type of external reaction on the skin. I believe the entire body and consciousness & soul to be connected, Haus of Skin Alchemy is a small scale wellness center which ties together mind, body and spiritual practices to create the best healing experience possible.

Currently, you can receive services such as facials, massage, lymphatic drainage massage, hair removal, reiki and sound healings. You can participate in movement practices like yoga and special event offerings like cacao and soundbath ceremonies. My goal for this space is to provide as many whole-body wellness services under one roof as I could find, with goals for expansion in the future, perhaps offering nutritionist services and more. Communities currently have facilities like hospitals we can visit, when we are already ill or injured, in this facility is every specialist ever thought of – all resides under that roof, accessible when you need them. My goal is to create a wellness facility focused on preventative care and mindful living, and involve my community at the highest capacity. I believe community is a vital piece of happy living, and I wanted to create a space with in my very own community available to those who need it, who are seeking out preventative wellness services, community connection – and be able to find it under one roof.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some of my favorite things to do are right here in my very own town, my favorite hiking adventures, reiki infused soundbath gatherings, hot yoga classes and my favorite spots to eat are all here locally in Santa Clarita. I love to take a hot yoga or pilates class at Serenity or Drenched and head over to Valencia Wellness bar for an Acai bowl after. My girlfriends and I love to stroll along Main Street popping into the cute stores like Soapish and Mascot to do a little shopping before eating dinner at the Junction. The local farmers markets have so many amazing members of the community who grow and create their own offerings and we have two locations, one in Newhall and one in Canyon Country making it super convenient if you can’t catch one you can make the other! Once a month you can experience the beautiful Reiki infused Soundhealing offerings led by my wonderful friends, Ashely Bennett and Tim Schaub at one of three different locations here in the community. Each one a different experience and equally as beautiful.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to every single woman in my life. Sisterhood is absolutely, what has given me the strength and confidence in myself to prosper. I am eternally grateful for each and every woman in my tribe who has supported me, repped me and loved me through this experience.
