We had the good fortune of connecting with Tim Herd and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tim, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I chose a creative career due to the opportunity to control my own narrative & engage in work centered in my own passions.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art consists of writing, whether it be academically or more creative-type writing, speaking, and organizing. I am most excited about all the opportunities to continue to building individually and as a community within my professional and personal work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
You have to start with a cruise down the PCH, checking out Santa Monica Pier, hiking at Griffith Observatory and seeing the Hollywood sign, traveling over to the Metaphor Club in Leimert Park, and waking around UCLA campus here IN Westwood.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my amazing parents, Joe & Verlona Herd who have poured so much love into me and shown me what it means to put your best foot forward and be kind to others.
