Meet Tj Basham | Publicist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tj Basham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tj, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
in my teens, I started getting interested in Hollywood. i didn’t start working as a Public Relations until 2016. I thought if i could help one client, i could manage more. eventually had 13 clients at one time.

What should our readers know about your business?
well, i created Image Box Entertainment. The difference is i feel, I’ve managed my client roster, to get on podcast and radio shows to youtube shows all by myself. Just me. i worked hard. My other influence was the tv show Entourage. Kevin Connelly who played E on the show. In the show he opened his own talent firm. My dream has been to work at William Morris Agency. For me, i wanted to always work harder and just see how far is could get.

The lessons i learned along the way is i should have reached out and went to become a talent agent or publicist in LA’s William Morris.

i’d like the world to know that i am STILL at the top of my A GAME!! I’m known for what i do and worked very hard to get here. Image Box Entertainment is run by me and only me. I have an incredible talent and i will contnue on!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Angeles, First stop is breakfast, whole foods, its across the way from Warner Brothers studio. They need to see MY LOVE of Warner Brothers studio! The tour is AMAZING! i myself love the friends set. (rip Matthew Perry). then after that, we would head over to coffee bean in Los Felix, get some drinks, rest and then go see Griffith Observatory/ Hollywood sign. lots of pictures and also show them where rebel without a cause was filmed. Rip James Dean! the scene is behind the observatory. then we move on to the Santa Monica pier- ICONIC!. do some looking around. ride some rides maybe. the beach is also there. then we would move on Hollywood and Hyland mall- that to me is AWESOME!!! just all around fun place. if we were able to. definately go see a live taping of a show. then possibly move on to universal studios city walk! maybe go see some filming locations, like grease – the high school. its famous. from there, ending the week, bc thats alot to, fun but exhausting. and last but NOT LEAST, is having my friend see malibu! thats just awesome! honestly I am huge into hollywood, and would hope theyd want to see all this. if not, we would do what they wanted do bc not everyone likes hollywood

He guided me and help me become the person/Publicist that i am today. then Meeting Creator Elena Moscatt. She’s the creator for click on this. I’ve had a client of mine, on her show, to be interviewed. She’s always been a huge supporter of mine and to keep doing PR work.
