We had the good fortune of connecting with Tommy Grasley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tommy, why did you pursue a creative career?
I never did fit in the “box.” The 9-5 structured working day. I’ve always had a creative mind. I grew up around creatives and the love of music. This came very naturally to me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I love collaborating with other creatives. My music is New Classic Rock for today’s listeners. It hasn’t been easy however, as the music industry has changed so much and yet I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I’ve learned a lot. It’s truly all about building strong and authentic lasting relationships.

My last album I BELIEVE IN LOVE Tommy Grasley aka TOMMYGUNN was built upon those very relationships. I’m grateful. During this pandemic I had the time to write a new album that I’ll be recording in LA. This piece of work will be a collaboration with some cool iconic American musicians.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Head to TREE PEOPLE in Coldwater Canyon . The views are spectacular. After that drive to The Country store in Laurel Canyon for drinks and a walk around. Why? It’s where the creatives hang out!……

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
