Meet Travone Evans | Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Travone Evans and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Travone, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Creativity is one of our most powerful tools in life. with creativity we can teach, we can learn, and we can make people feel! My whole life all I’ve ever wanted to do was entertain people. Life wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows growing up but my imagination kept me happy and going. I saw that I could use it to make others around me happy too. I almost went a different route but the creative arts kept calling my name and I went for it.

What should our readers know about your business?
I feel like the thing that sets me apart from others is that I’m not in this for the money or the notoriety. I just genuinely care for people and being able to make someone feel anything with my work gives me greater joy than anything else in the world. It definitely wasn’t easy getting where I am but I was forced into making it happen when the pandemic started. Luckily I had the right set of skills and equipment that soon became extremely valuable assets in the new world. My greatest challenge was finding a way to balance work, spending time with my family, and spending time on myself. I’m still figuring it all out but my family has been supportive through it all. I just want the world to know that anything is possible when you put your all into what you love and that its possible to make a living off your own creativity.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t go out much. I’m the worst person to ask what to do in LA. The things I enjoy doing are traveling and seeing things. My go to is taking people to see the Hollywood sign but a better trip would be traveling to Sequoia National Park or Yosemite National Park.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person to who I owe everything is definitely my mother. Her imagination was just as wild as mine. She kept life interesting with games and new experiences and taught me laughter is the best medicine when your down. She always supported me no matter what I wanted to do and was always there for me until she passed while I was in college.
I also have to show my appreciation to Dr. Tonea Stewart and everyone else at Alabama State University. That was the first place I started really working with editing and content creation. I couldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the support from everyone at that institution.
My best friend and business partner Toran X. Moore. When I first started he kept the work flowing through my door and is still an essential person in my business.
Lastly my Fiancee for sticking with me through this crazy journey. its definitely had its ups and downs but no one believes in me more than her.
