We had the good fortune of connecting with Treasure Cooper and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Treasure, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The single most important factor behind my success is wanting to live a peaceful and healthy life. Then asking myself ‘what does that require I change about myself and the way I think? What types of decisions does this person make?’ And then I continue to rinse and repeat everyday. I’m also very honest with myself even when it doesn’t feel good. Honesty leads to self-awareness and self-awareness leads to success in one way or another.

The same way that I personally want to live a healthy life, my brand is about offering healthy and affordable alternatives to products people use on an everyday basis. Specifically products regarding self-care that makes people feel good. Everyone should feel good about themselves because it definitely makes a difference.

What should our readers know about your business?
First I am an actor and what sets me apart when it comes to my art is the simple fact that I am me. I have a unique view of the world because of my experiences.

Second I am a business owner. Creating my brand, B.NOHEMI wasn’t exactly easy. Being a one woman show is a lot of work and has required 13 hour work days at times. I never realized how much thought goes into small details, like the font of the label. It took me over a week to decide on the font and the amount of articles I’ve read on font style was insane. A lot of the lessons I’ve learned while being a business owner is be open to change and adjust quickly.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’ can sing praises for the women I get to call best friends from now til the end of time. They’ve been there for me through the good and bad and have always given me space to evolve as a person. They support every single endeavor I pursue and I feel so extremely lucky to get to call them friend. One owns a candle business (shop.Cavo on IG) and another is a certified personal trainer and mother (ashmamafit_) who has a special focus on training mothers.
