Meet Trinity Orosco-moore | Multifaceted Rapper & Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Trinity Orosco-moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Trinity, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Work life balance is a very key thing to manage. Being able to have that grind in you as well as prioritize mental health is extremely important. Making sure that self care rituals are in tact for me is very important. I can’t tackle my day to day hardcore tasks and grind if my mind, body, and soul isn’t in a good place. I am a very busy person. I’m a full time college student, work a 9-5, go to the gym, write and record music, perform shows, and manage my various content as an artist. I’m very multifaceted and have many different sides of me. Work life balance at times can be very overwhelming at times. However, I really do my best to be on top of business. Getting sleep, taking care of my body, listening too music, praying, manifesting, or trying new experiences really helps me while college, buisness, and work can be quite a lot at times.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Hi I’m Trinity Ollin Orosco-Moore. I am a multifaceted rapper, and my artist name is actually “Trini”. I was born in the Tower District of Fresno, California. However , I grew up in Watsonville, California. A small town made out of many immigrant farm workers from Mexico. I was born into a family filled with music and culture. I am a lyricist, songwriter, actress, dance background, filmmaker, makeup(beauty), educated young women. I moved to LA at 19 alone, and have been grinding, growing, and thriving here for the last 3 years. Although, I am a rapper I don’t confine myself to just that. The lyrics and flows can go in between many genres. I also has a passion for fitness and musical theater. I dropped my first debut album at 21 years old called “Moments In Life.” This project has baddie rap, conscious rap, drill, some Spanish influence, heartbreak r&b, storytelling, hype music, bar for bar type, and all around mixture of stuff. I am working on my second album as we speak. I have done numerous shows, and even a rap battle recently. I have also attained a degree in Liberal Arts & Humanities, and am currently studying for a Communications & Marketing BA. I am passionate about history, art, writing, culture, and Ethnic Studies. I use music to express, inspire, and impact people. I like to push activism with my music as well as pushes confidence and self love. I use my vulnerability as a superpower, and at the same time have a spirit that gives “don’t play energy”. I have been writing raps since elementary school, and would film freestyle car raps in high-school. I have only been recording at a studio professionally for a year. I am fairly new, but have the knowledge and talent of an old soul. I represent for women and indigenous culture. I have various skills, and me being very diverse makes me stand out from all others. Totally in my own lane, unique, and just taking things one step at a time as I am on the come up. I do music because I love it first, but hope to inspire others in the process.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I currently live and stay in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA). I love so many different things. My favorite foods are Mexican Food, Ethiopian Food, Indian Food, and Italian Food. I love the beach, and late night drives with city lights and music playing. I am still relatively new to LA, so I myself am still discovering new places, and experiences.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would say my mother is someone in my life that support me, and is the main source of my story. She is just always speaking life into me, while telling me things by being brutally honest. She also is very cultured, and musically inclined herself. She always supports me and has made various sacrifices for me. She is a DJ herself, and also works in education with early childhood education. She is my everything, and I love her and couldn’t be who I am at all without her.
