Meet Trizzle | Aspiring Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Trizzle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Trizzle, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was born just east of Atlanta, Georgia. I come from a broken home, and spent most of my childhood couch surfing around town. My parents were never married and did not have the happy american family we all know and want. We survived off of food stamps and government assistance, and could never steer away from cps. I wouldn’t change a thing, I was never fed from a silver spoon and thanks to that maybe one day my family and I can all eat from silver plaques with the chains to match. Everything I went through as a child and even as a young adult has led me to where I am today and I am forever grateful. All Glory to God.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My entire life all I’ve ever wanted was to be heard, even if there’s only one person listening in to what I have to say then i’m more than happy to keep it going. My younger brother and I used to write raps and songs when we were little, prior to the soundcloud wave. So of course it wasn’t as easy to release music and become an actual artist. I went through a rough breakup that sent me on a downward spiral a couple years ago and it sparked something in me, I needed to be heard. I then released my first project, lakeside park. I’m far from perfect and I’m definitely not a superstar just yet, but i’m different in the sense that I’m unapologetically myself, and I put it all into my work. Take a listen and see.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend has been by my side since 2016, but if he weren’t from here I’d have to take him out to Little Five Points in Downtown Atlanta, Take him out to eat at every hole in the wall small business in town so we could pay homage to my hometown, I’d most definitely have to take him out to Athens so we could party with the college kids, hit the pop up thrifts, and turn up at some basement shows.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
All of my glory goes to God, and to everyone he put in my life to put me in this position. Beyond that I owe it all to jack spensley (2livid), he has been one of my best friends since i was 14 years old and he has been one of my biggest influences and inspirations for years. I hold my family and friends very close to my heart and I love them all dearly. My boys have been there for me through it all, I don’t know where i’d be without them.
